The first time I registered with Odoo for free in 2025, I got an email and a call from a dedicated and local to me, customer service / Account manager person to provide support with the onboarding. I though it was very generous from their business, providing I was a free account testing the platform.
Their Ai element inside the App to answer basic funtionality questions works incredible well... and today..
Because I am so pleased with how easy has been to integrate the crm into my business... I wanted to change my Login details into a more permanent email address (the one I use google calendar for, etc).. I got connected directly and very promptly with a Customer Assistant HUMAN! Lan Nguyen, whom rised the Ticket and sort out my request within the same afternoon...
It WOuld be amazing if their "contacts" tab/app could sync with google contacts... instead you have to do a import/export manually with -csv files... which is a bit of a pain and not ideal becuase of the template, etc.. BUT HEY! THIS IS FREE RIGHT!!!? can´t complain.
About the experience...
FAST, EFFICIENT, exactly what the future of companies need. I have recommended Odoo to people I know and It will be my first choice in the future for other business aplications, their service does make a difference!

My experience with Rohan and this project has been excellent. It appears at this point that we are on budget and our progress toward a goal end date is excellent. I especially appreciate Rohan's attentiveness and professional approach to our implementation. Emails responses are timely and thoughtful. I look forward to the remainder of this engagement.

Didn't receive what I paid for. Anti-consumer practices including a strict no refund policy which is refused tooth and nail when you don't receive what you paid for. Any staff support takes their sweet time. Numerous hidden costs— including staff support costs sold separately and ridiculously overpriced. False advertising— the platform is advertised without showing the complexity or advanced mess that is all the settings and configurations that require deep knowledge or a steep learning curve and constant maintenance. Paid for the highest plan. Didn't get what I paid for. Have been stuck in the trial for the entire billing cycle. Manager never got back to me when I asked for a manager and was informed that a manager would reach back to me. Will not spend another penny on Odoo ever again.
For the first few months, great. Free, easy to use. But then, your free trial you didn’t know you were on is out, they lock you out of your website, and push you to pay.
Don't waste your time with Odoo... most people who recommend it are being paid a referral fee... the support is extremely slow and almost non-existent in my experience and the services are slow and difficult to learn... I have wasted hundreds on dollars on Odoo and hope you don't make the same mistake.
We are very impressed with Odoo’s support. Everything was resolved quickly and professionally. It’s great to see a company that delivers on its service promises so effectively.
I paid for a basic product (appointment calendar) and it is not working. The client service is shitty : once you’ve paid they do not answer you anymore. I am now stuck for my freelance professional activity because my patients can not book an appointment.

App is fine. After sales customer service is bad
We had a fantastic experience working with Andrew on implementation. He took the time to learn our processes and helped us determine the best ways to utilize Odoo for our unique manufacturing situation. Odoo as a platform has exceeded my expectations and has so many out of the box features and allows for automations or custom actions that can extend it beyond standard operations. Do not expect the implementation to be done for you, there was still a ton of work put in by our team to ensure success, but we certainly felt like we had a great partner in the process and are quite happy with the resulting system.

Funny how they say ''make an easy website'', and then they make the website for you. They drop a random adress on ''your site'', everyone that visits your site sees your phone number, adress and e-mail. You can't change that. Odoo, what is this?

Never was able to upload our customer files from Zoho or our CRM. We are a software company and have implementation specialists. We told the sales rep this was a deal breaker and was told they would get it to work shortly after we signed up.. We were going to do month to month starting Dec 5th but, the rep talked our president into a 1 year contract. He Slid a no refunds clause in there. President signed contract on Dec 5th. Paid for the whole year. All of the sudden they wouldn't help me import our data unless we paid for implementation. Kept getting errors on account name. Asked for a full refund on Dec 10 verbally and Dec 15th in email format. They refuse to refund our money to this day. Still billing us and we had to go back to Zoho on Dec 20th or we wouldn't have had a CRM the past 2 months to use. Would not recommend this CRM company to any business at this point.
After decided not precede with the accountant, they remove our access to our company database on Odoo. After asking them to give us the admin several times, they never did.
After almost a week of contacting Odoo, by chat (only), they decided that the accountant create the database so it belongs to them not to the company, leaving us without "our" database. Basically we were stole and they collaborate with it.
Very difficult to communicate with the company by chat, in cases like this, you got F***** and you have no other options. I do not recommend! It's very risky!
It was helpful to have Odoo support team. I really love to work with them.
