Personio has obtained my personal…

Personio has obtained my personal telephone number through web scraping and has been cold-calling me about their HR software. I don't work in HR, and my personal mobile is not a work line—nor is it listed on any professional profile online.
After receiving previous calls, I was assured my details would be removed from their contact list. I have since received another call.
I can't comment on their products or services, but their cold-calling practices and apparent disregard for basic GDPR compliance leave a lot to be desired.

Ur trusted HRIS

Personio is an absolute staple piece in our daily work and it has come so far.
We were very early customers and what it can do now is quite impressive. We are not even using it´s full potential, but are trying to do so more and more. Sometimes Personio improves so fast, we cannot even improve the processes alongside with it. I think when you come in now freshly, you´ll be able to set up everything the most efficient way, without old structure in the way, that was set up multiple years ago.
Personio takes manual work off our hands but still I do not feel like i lose control over the processes. I do not want to miss it.

Greedy company caring nothing about anything

They went ahead and increased their pricing quite a lot, asked us for a confirmation, we rejected it, fill out a form, and emailed our decision not to continue at that price with 11 months notice. nonetheless, 11 months later here they are saying our messages did not constitute legal terms and forcing us into another year. terrible account management, greedy company and no support at all.

Disappointing customer service

I was trying to inquire about the personal information policy. When we were their customer, they respond to our request properly. But after the cancelation, they doesn't reply to any email. And also via chat on their website, the market response representative ignores the chat and one of the assosiate wasn't friendly at all. Nothing was solved for 7 months. Really disappointing customer service.

THEY KEPT ON INCRESING THE TIMELINE AND EXTENDING THE SERVICE WHERE WE PAY FOR 6 Months without getting anything

Super intuitive

I use Personio through my employer for 3 years now, and I’ve had a really good experience with it. The interface is clear and easy to navigate, so I can quickly find what I need – whether it’s requesting vacation, checking my payslips, or just keeping track of things.

It doesn’t feel complicated, it’s pretty intuitive, and it works reliably for what I need. So far, would definitely recommend it.

Extremely disappointing HRIS

Extremely disappointing HRIS – I strongly regret choosing Personio
After 20+ years of working with HRIS platforms across both large-scale and smaller organisations, Personio has been the most frustrating and regrettable system I’ve encountered.

Shockingly poor implementation support — We were handed a generic checklist with minimal guidance. No tailored advice, no real engagement, and certainly no partnership.

Bug-ridden platform — Constant errors, broken workflows, and unreliable features. Feels like a product still in beta.

Terrible customer service — Getting meaningful support is nearly impossible. Responses are slow, unhelpful, and often automated or outsourced.

Unskilled, disengaged support staff — Little to no product knowledge, no ownership of issues, and a tendency to deflect or disappear.

Overpromised, underdelivered — Sales made big claims around functionality, automation, and user experience — none of which held true.

Poor integrations — Limited, clunky, and often requiring costly workarounds. Not fit for a modern tech stack.

Terrible time tracking setup for international companies — Completely inflexible. Built with a single-country model in mind. Managing multiple time zones, holidays, or local labour laws is a nightmare.

Very good HR platform

Overall, very good HRIS system. The progression and the changes made to the platform over a year are very, very impressive.
Personio is not a best of breed for every areas that the software covers, but it has a lot of capabilities, which makes it a very good "One for all" tool.
The Platform approach is the right one. Personio's team is really listening a lot to feedback and are ready to help when they can.
Some features are still missing to make it a perfect fit for all organization, and it's very focused on Northern European countries.
Keep going in the right direction !

Great tool for tracking absences

When it comes to managing absences, Personio is really helpful by giving an overview of remaining days and handing in a holiday. Getting an approval for your time off that is also deposited in the app makes my life as an employee way easier.
