I had been looking for a puppy for a few weeks before this; I finally found myself checking out a listing for perhaps the cutest puppy I have ever seen. After getting a call from an excited agent who... See more

My experience was great! PuppySpot kept me updated every step of the process. When my Puppy arrived he was perfect and he smelled fresh and clean. Even after his long trip. I highly recommend using this service.
Everything was good…except for the breeder
she sent a little bag of food, no name. She did not tell me when she eats, how she was potty training her etc.
TOLD ME NOT ONE THING !… i paid a lot of money for my puppy, I did expect some connection with the breeder.

I thought she’d be microchipped because I saw the green checkmark on her profile but my veterinarian checked her and didn’t find a microchip. She’s with a microchip now and her shots are up to date. She is well (awesome 🌈😇)) I think and she has started her 1sr day at board and train OverWatch K-9 academy today for 2-3 weeks. Nala was very well behaved in her new home 🏠 with me. She, Nala, is receiving advanced obedience training.

PuppySpot is NOT for everyone.
I’ll start by saying this: our puppy is the most beautiful, sweet boy in the world, and we have zero regrets about adding him to our family. That said, I would think twice before recommending PuppySpot.
The overall process is fast, and receiving your puppy is generally smooth. However, if you’re looking for transparency—detailed information about the breeder, the parents, or your puppy’s health before delivery—then PuppySpot is not for you.
Information about the breeder and health history is extremely vague, despite the very high price point. PuppySpot promises a “nose-to-tail” health check prior to delivery, but it’s unclear what that actually includes. When we received Mocha, he had two types of worm parasites, ear and skin mites, kennel cough, and what appeared to be two healing broken ribs—none of which were disclosed to us beforehand. While I understand that puppies can arrive with health issues, it felt like Mocha arrived with everything, yet his paperwork stated he was cleared.
For the cost, we expected far more transparency and honesty than what we experienced.
Additionally, once payment is complete, communication drops off significantly. The representative who was responsive early on became difficult to reach, the promised FaceTime to meet our puppy never happened, and getting detailed answers to questions was frustrating. Most communication afterward felt generic—delivery timelines, pet insurance upsells, and basic prep checklists—nothing personal or tailored.
So again, if you are looking for full transparency, detailed breeder information, and clear health disclosures before delivery, PuppySpot is not the right choice.
Very polite customer service. Very informative staff and information online.

This is an updated review...my prior review had 4 stars, but I am updating to 5.
My pup arrived perfectly and exactly as described..the delivery was also seamless and easy, and the customer service folks were genuine and I really think love their jobs! There was some information missing that would have helped our transition..our pup is older, almost 7 months old and I had hoped to know what kind of training she had had and vaccination records. After my review, Puppyspot responded immediately and furnished all the information we needed from the breeder. My experience with Puppyspot has been fabulous. There is always an unknown when spending this kind of money on line...but Puppyspot delivered in every way. On our first vet appointment, our vet said, 'She's a winner!'. We feel like we won too. A great experience and a wonderful healthy dog. Many thanks.

Communication throughout this process has been very limited. We requested photos several times and did not receive them. We drove over 450 miles to pick up the puppy, and only 14 hours before pickup we were informed she has an umbilical hernia. While we understand this condition can be manageable, being asked to pay the full price of over $4,000 under these circumstances is very concerning.
I have now emailed twice and have not received a response. This is not simply about the cost — it’s about transparency, responsiveness, and reasonable expectations when making a significant purchase. At this price point, we expected clear communication and a healthy puppy.

Stressful. Lack of communication. Waiting until the last minute as to find out instructions for pickup by the owner! It sucked!
I believe the puppy came from a puppy mill. He only wants to stay outside. He's not familiar with being around people and he stinks. I had the family coming today to meet him. But instead, I have to have him groomed today.

The prices are quite elevated, communication is difficult, and the process lacks transparency. I had many questions that went unanswered when I was able to connect. There were multiple times when I called the line went dead or there was no one to talk to.

Puppy is gorgeous and very sweet. Communication was awful. Questions and requests from the breeder went unanswered by puppy spot. Puppy was delivered with ZERO things from his home. No toy no blanket. Nothing of comfort to help the transition.

This website is featuring puppies that are genetically mutated and have been proven to be unhealthy. Some are described as purebreds, but they are not. If breeders are knowledgeable, they would never ship a puppy at the young ages advertised due to psychological damage. Buy from a local breeder you can see in person.

The follow up was very good and I received email info in a timely manner.

They made the entire process easy for me to get my adorable Lab puppy. I would recommend them to others wanting a pup. 🤗

This was our first time using Puppyspot so we were a bit apprehensive about the whole process. Hallie was coming from Ohio to CA during the worst winter storm in a few years blanketing most of the US. The initial scheduled date was delayed for a break in conditions. Everything came out great as the transport and arrival was fine. I got both text and email with relevant updates.
