Terrible customer support for Google Home Premium for my doorbell
Paid for Google Home Premium from Google Store to record videos on my Google doorbell for a year’s subscription. It has not worked since I purchased it over 5 weeks ago. It’s been so hard finding someone to connect to get support and they can’t help me. They said they would get back to me within 24/48 hours but they didn’t so I had to chase it again. Still trying to sort it out.
I don’t understand why everything to do with Google has to be so complicated!! Nothing Google related is simple and nothing ever works! Won’t be purchasing anything to do with Google ever again.
My Fitbit failed within days
My Fitbit failed within days — and Fitbit cared more about where it was bought than the fact it was broken.
I bought a Fitbit more than a month ago…
I bought a Fitbit more than a month ago but they sent it to an incorrect address and got returned, next they delivered an open package product so I returned it, then they sent just the puck (no wrist bands nor charger) and I returned it and now they are asking me if I can walk them through the whole ordeal so they can review and give me an answer. Result: I don't have anything to show for the money I spent here. Terrible experience.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS TERRIBLE QUALITY ALL ROUND
Where to start from. I bought two google pixel pros which both came defective, imagine that… So I returned both phones immediately and was refunded for one phone after few days. The refund for the other phone was delayed by about a week and a half till I realised something was wrong and I contacted them. Its now been 3+ weeks, 2 investigations have been initiated yet they still have no idea where my return parcel is. It’s absolutely ridiculous and I have credit cards I’m currently in debt to because of things I’ve been obligated to pay for and can’t. Terrible.
The Google Pixel phones they are…
The Google Pixel phones they are selling are known to have power button issues the phone will randomly turn on and off screens pop up making it so you can't use it this often happens after warranty and they charge you to repair something that is not your fault and who knows how long the problem will be fixed for I've been ripped off I don't want it to happen to anyone else they would not help me
DONT BUY A FITBIT!!

Pure garbage have had my phone for over…
Pure garbage have had my phone for over a month for repair And still waiting for phone to be fixed The tech before replace mother board and got a new IEMI But did not notify Google of change and gone thru what I would call stupid and Google not carry enough to fix the phone and ship it back to me Well never buy another Google pixie phone Garbage service If could give 0 I would again garbage
If I could give less than 1 stay I would
There’s a reason all the reviews only have 1 star, that’s all I have to say
Told me I could not return my watch…
Told me I could not return my watch that is not fit for purpose which is obviously against the sales of goods act 1979 and fobbed me off with a replacement which may well have the same issue when it eventually arrives after me having to go without one for up to 18 days
Google Nest × Yale Lock: A Masterclass in How to Waste a Customer’s Time
This has been one of the most frustrating and incompetent support experiences I’ve ever dealt with regarding a Google Nest × Yale smart lock. I was explicitly misled by Google’s own Nest support page, which showed my device warranty expiring on September 17, 2025. Based on that information, I followed Google’s guidance and contacted Yale, assuming the lock was still under warranty. That information turned out to be wrong.
Yale later claimed the warranty had already expired in August 2025, directly contradicting what Google displayed for the same Google Nest lock. So which one is correct? Because customers should not be punished for trusting the official warranty information shown by Google for a Google-branded product.
What followed was months of pure chaos. Endless emails, repeated troubleshooting, zero ownership, and constant handoffs between different support agents, each forcing me to re-explain the entire situation from scratch. No continuity, no accountability, no resolution.
Between Google and Yale, five months of my time were completely stolen—emails, calls, explanations, and follow-ups that led absolutely nowhere. This stopped being a hardware issue and became a systemic support failure. If this is how warranty issues for a Google Nest lock are handled, then the warranty itself is meaningless.
Totally useless service. Deeply disappointing. I would strongly warn others not to expect real support when a Google Nest lock actually fails.

Fitbit watch has one year life
Very poor quality on FitBit watches, maximum life is one year. They replace in warranty but it is a pain every time. You should buy if you are ready to buy a new one every time the warranty ends. Fitbit replaced my watch in guarantee, that went bad again and I had to buy new. New one went bad, replaced and went bad again. Pathetic quality.
Don't buy Google watches unless you love second hand for brand new prices
I bought a brand new pixel watch 3 in their offers before Christmas for a Christmas present, and the watch turned out the be faulty. It was an intermittent fault so took about a week of back and forth with their team for resets then waiting for the fault again. Annoying but such is life.
Anyway they agreed to replace it, I did the online replacement order thing and it said it would be replaced with a second hand, refurbished watch, which is totally unacceptable for a brand new faulty watch that I shouldn't have had to deal with in the first place. I contacted them AGAIN and they said that was automated, I'd get a brand new one they assured me. Then a refurb arrived in the post! I contacted again, had hours of discussion where they kept telling me the refurb would be great and I kept explaining the warranty is half as long and second hand is not what I purchased. They said swap the watches, finished the return, we'll do another for a brand new watch. So I do, admin, postage etc etc.
Finally, watch arrived in the post today, it's another second hand refurb 😭. Honestly I think they are trolling me. How can a CS team be this inept!?! For such a massive company?!
Don't buy anything off Google store
My replacement fitbit4 has suffered the…
My replacement fitbit4 has suffered the same issues. I’m not sure if they just fobbed me off with a refurbished as a replacement but it’s had the same issues being battery draining quickly then eventually a blank screen & unable to reboot etc. was told on 5.1.26 I was being referred to a team who could help & they would contact within 24-48hrs. Have heard absolutely nothing despite emailing back to the original support numerous times requesting an update. Both watches were either less than a year or as the replacement which lasted just over a year. Awful service experience & it seems the product does not give reasonable service either
Don't buy anything off Google store
Don't buy anything off Google store. They ship from the UK then they use DHL to return items back to Poland. dhl are the worse courier. They have now lost my return. Stay away.
Good
Well, the shopping experience is quite good, although customer service takes a long time to respond, it is a secure purchase.
First bought my Fitbit Charge in Sept…
First bought my Fitbit Charge in Sept 23. The device completely died in November 24 and a refurbed replacement device was sent. This has now also died, exactly the same fault. I can see from Fitbit Community that many other users have experienced the same fault at the same time. Fitbit have said that the device is out of warranty so they havent offered any repair or replacement, only a 35% discount for a new device. There is clearly a fault with these devices so I will be looking at better quality alternatives to Fitbit.
Fully functional product made unusable…
Fully functional product made unusable via software – pure planned obsolescence**
I own a Google Nest device that is perfectly functional from a hardware perspective.
However, Google has now unilaterally decided to render it unusable by disconnecting it from the app and removing software support.
As a result, I am forced to purchase a new device not because mine is broken, but because Google deliberately chose to disable it.
This practice creates unnecessary electronic waste and directly contradicts Google’s constant public statements about environmental sustainability and ecological responsibility.
Google claims that I could have benefited from a “replacement promotion,” yet I never received any communication whatsoever: no email, no in-app notification, no warning on the device itself.
You cannot fail to take advantage of an offer that was never communicated.
Being declared “not eligible” after the fact, without ever having had a real opportunity to participate, is unfair, arbitrary, and unacceptable.
I am not asking for a favor. I am asking that a working product not be deliberately turned into electronic waste to drive new sales.
This experience clearly shows that Google prioritizes profit over sustainability and customer respect.
A dangerous precedent that every potential Nest customer should be aware of before investing in these products.
Stay clear of google and their phones…
Stay clear of google and their phones poor quality three now all faulty and poor customer service from Google stay clear and trY Eleswhere
