I ordered Osprey Escapist 30L backpack…

I ordered Osprey Escapist 30L backpack to take it on a holiday. It arrived later than expected delivery time.
I returned the item on 12th Jan from the UK using the return label provided by TrekkInn. I was charged £11.99 postage. Since then I have contacted the customer services team via the support@tradeinn and keep getting same robotic response that my refund will be issued "once parcel is registered in our returns department". The customer services /support team is terrible. So far the company has taken £118 purchase price, including £12 in postage and they have the bag. It has been five weeks and I have no idea when I will be receiving my full refund.
Please. refund me as soon as possible.

Not based in UK - Issue with a return

Firstly, customers should note that this firm is not based in the UK, so there is a longer delivery period. However, more importantly, when making a return and using their supplied Royal Mail label, it only tracks back to the point of the last UK facility. I have been waiting 3 weeks now on a refund, and can see it cleared customs 2 weeks ago. Customer service basically say not received yet, please wait longer. I am worried given the many other negative reviews related to returns and refunds - have a reads.

Customer Service is only sending unsuitable automated responses

Having a really hard time with customer service as they never properly read emails like humans but I get a pre-fabricated, half automated response that's not solving my issue:
- tried to cancel a product from my order days before it got shipped, support kept responding about delivery times on another product rather than anything to do with cancellation and eventually sent out the brush days later
- my climbing shoes were marked as delayed and to be shipped in march, just when I had ordered the shoes somewhere else, they got sent out from trekk in, nevertheless arrived more than a week delayed.
- because of these issues I am trying for Trekkin to cover the returns cost but again, just getting a response about standard 30 days returns rather than the free label I asked for.

No customer service

I found a pair of booths on the sellers webpage, ordered and paid for them.

After that the sellers went silent, denied me access to my account and stayed silent.

Their customer service did not react to an email, I tried several time to get access through new password, a phone call to a closed phone number several times.

After that I decided to cancel my order - but with no luck- as a return requires account access.

After consulting with my bank, I blocked the payment and had to cancel my credit card.

Then out of nowhere the parcel arrived - I picked it up to make a return- and again - the company denies me account access to return the parcel.

I will not recommend this company to any one due to their non existent customer service and their silence - It creates distrust and suspicion.

Addition - after receiving the sellers answer the seller still denies me access to my account in order to create a return.

The seller have absolutely no credibility.

Size does not match label - twice!

The product arrived after a while and was not the size the label portrayed. I have had similar Salomon shoes from Trekinn and the UK11/EU46 fit perfectly. Having to pay the return postage of £12 did not amuse. The size 11.5 was also too small - just. They will have to go back (£12) too. I won’t take the risk with this merchant again. Pity. I now expect a chat bot response which is equally useless ..but free.

Whereabouts of returned item unkown

never again. Cheaters and liars

There is no way to reply but I show you their reply to me. They sent me a totally different product without the extra winter warm fabric as advertised and without pockets for the motorcycle protectives for arms and back that was clearly advertised. huge delays - product never received

UPDATE:
still didn't get the package. it is probably lost. they are of course not taking any responsibility. just keep "asking for patience". Make yourself a favor, don't be tempted to save couple of bucks, buy from a place that take responsibility and not only your money.

i placed an order. all items appeared to be in stock.
one week later, they suddenly say one of the items is not in stock, so the whole shipment is being delayed.
they refuse to ship the other items. so my whole order is hanging in the air, but the time was already spent

In this case and unfortunately, we can only pass on to our customers the delivery times indicated by our suppliers.

Please note that you are always shown the estimated date for a product that is not available in our warehouse when you add it to your shopping cart.

Remember that you can modify or add items to your order from your account or cancel the order at any time if you prefer not to wait any longer for a product.

On the contrary, you will receive an email as soon as the order is shipped with the carrier's tracking number and the invoice.
