I placed my order on 5th February at 12:26pm, with delivery advertised as 3–5 business days. The item arrived 8 calendar days later.
Although this technically fits within the 5 working day window, customers should understand that “3–5 business days” can effectively mean up to a full week in real terms. If delivery consistently occurs at the maximum end of the timeframe, advertising “3–5” may create expectations that are unlikely to be met at the earlier end.
Customer support was also disappointing. The chatbot provided little clarity, and reaching a human representative was unnecessarily difficult.
The product has now arrived, but had the realistic delivery timeframe been clearer from the outset, I would likely have chosen a different supplier.
Greater transparency in delivery expectations would improve customer confidence.
I ordered a big kledingkast through bol.com and it was delivered to my house. It was not adequate and I requested for a return. However, I have limited mobility and they refused to pick up the kast from my apartment. It is impossible for me to return this item and no one at vida.xl is willing to assist or find a solution. I am so frustrated because the responses from customer care have been so negative and disappointing.
Terrible experience and zero professionalism.
I purchased online Hoge kast met lade Artisan Eiken 80 x 33 x 150 cm Bewerkt hout.
Assembled everything and when get to the last part I noticed that 1× Drawer front 617x220x15 (wooden board) is broken and bent.
I immediately wrote to vidaxl.nl and provided pictures.
They want me to unscrew everything, pack and return so they can take it back and send me new furniture. Im asking why they just dont send me new wooden board from their new furniture?? I can even drive to Zaandam for that part.
They dont do that. Not efficient! And they expect me to be in house when the courier comes (I cant pick a time).
When I ask for contact to manager so I can explain and find better solution I dont get response for this request. They even write that if something more get broken due my inefficient packing they will not accept this part of return. It has to exactly as I received it. They dont understand that I made holes for screws for drawers according to instructions and it will not look as untouched.
Terrible. Just send me a small piece of wood which you give me broken. I know you can do that because you offer me a new furniture so you can get this out and send to me. I worked in customer service I know what's possible and what is ,,help" and you dont help. To stuck to inefficient procedure and not helping.

There were return problems. The help was not good. After my review on trustpilot Vidaxl contacted me. They helped me and everything is solved now. I got the full amount of money back. Thanks Vidaxl and also trustpilot.

The delivery communication was so ridiculously bad that I will never order from VidaXL again! When buying, I was able to select a specific date - nothing was delivered on that date. There was no notification about that day changing (so we arranged to be home the whole day for nothing). Then we got an email about delivery 2 days later between 8-10am. This changed during the day (and in the end was delivered at 8 pm), without any notification (I had to refresh the tracking page manually, and even there updates came HOURS after the delivery window had elapsed!). Again we arranged to be home the whole day for nothing. Then: this was not the whole delivery, but it was split into 3 (!!!) deliveries. The other two deliveries had similar communication issues. Overall we stayed home 4 days for one purchase. What I expect:
- If you let me select a date for delivery during checkout, I expect delivery on that date.
- If delivery times change, please notify me (email, push notification on phone etc).
Then we finally got the furniture: a bunk bed. It turned out to have 300 parts !!!! It took us a full day to assemble it.
Next time I'll go back to ordering from Ikea: delivery on the date they say, updates when delivery times change, and furniture that can be assembled in reasonable amount of time.

I did not receive my package, and the customer service is absolutely horrible. Would not recommend!
They deceive you and tell you the package will arrive in few days, then after weeks of it not arriving, they tell you they can not give you a refund until the package is there.
The worst thing is, when using the customer service, they make you wait a long time, and then leave the chat.

The quality of the stuffs was horrible: stretches and damage of painted parts right out of the box.
The metal screws are especially low quality: many of their tops were not rigid enough and the screwdriver simply twisted them through. So you got a number of faulty items, and as a result you got a lack of appliances to assemble the whole piece successfully.

The instructions were really poor to assemble , it took us long just coz of the poor instructions. The item is good and looks nice but they definitely need to improve instructions

Needed a new bathroom cabinet. Found one on VidaXL, looked kinda snazzy and was cheap. Didn't hesitate to order and within a week it was delivered. I was kept updated throughout. The cabinet itself was an easy fix. Overal very happy with the ordering process and won't hestitate to buy again from VidaXL if and when needed.

We recently ordered a splashback from VidaXL and we're so happy with the product and service. Slight delay but kept informed. Product is fantastic quality. Husband used to fit kitchens so was very impressed with the price point. And the final result is so good. Really pleased and will definitely order from here in future. We could not have got a product elsewhere at this price point.

My mother had ordered a buffet when we put it together we found that the frames of top doors were cracked and broken. We called and after chatting with a very friendly lady with a terrible accent we were told to email a photo which we did. We got a friendly email to thank us for it and they would let us know what they were going to do about it. We never heard from them again! Next I ordered via Amazon a bathroom cabinet and a set of drawers. The courier claimed it was delivered but it wasn’t. I have not received anything. I complained to the courier and they told me that VidaXL had to ask for an investigation. I told VidaXL via Amazon and they send me a file with a form I had to fill in (this was a form from the courier which I already filled in for the courier company ) I filled in the form and emailed it 4 times and they never replied! Every time I contacted them again via Amazon all they kept replying is the same message: sorry for your inconvenience please
fill in the form! I tell them that I did 4 times and the same answer :sorry for your inconvenience we understand this is frustrating please fill in the form! They are a despicable company who don’t own up and take responsibility when something goes wrong. So I will never ever order from them again! And I warn everyone who considers ordering from them DONT! Everything they sell is available in other more trustworthy shops! This is about VidaXL Nederland

Poor quality & poor customer serivce. Products fall apart or are delivered incomplete, and customer service is unresponsive or invokes their terrible protocols. The worst service I have ever experienced. Want to return something? That's not even possible. VidaXL is a huge scam.
