Excellent Free Hosting for Beginners

InfinityFree.com is an excellent free web hosting platform, especially for beginners and small projects. It offers unlimited disk space and bandwidth, free subdomains, and reliable uptime without forcing ads on your website. The control panel is easy to use, and setting up WordPress or custom PHP websites is simple and fast.

What I really like is that even though it’s free, the performance is stable and suitable for testing, learning, and lightweight production websites. Their knowledge base and community support are also helpful when you need guidance.

Overall, InfinityFree is one of the best free hosting services available online. Highly recommended for students, developers, and anyone who wants to start a website without spending money. 👍

Infinity Free you get what you pay for, this company is a racket to get you over to ifast.net.

if0_41073823 (Website for ajsss.lovestoblog.com) This is the effected account. Infinity Free is a corporation. I migrated a website from local host to their company. They suspended it for going over rate limitations. Ok migration of a website can do that. Before it was reactivated (24 hours later), they again suspended it. The email described this time it might be a scripting problem (plugin). On the client side there is no way into Cpanel or into the back end of the site. But there is a big flashy banner GO PREMIUM. First of all why would any person go premium (spend a lot of money) with a problem that causes overlapping suspensions with no way to know or fix the problem. Why would anybody do business with a parent company of a company with no customer support, leaving their customers hanging in the air, and why is a company registered as free hosting trying to get customers to go and do business with some other company after spending a lot of money on advertising to get the customer to do business with them? I would caution anyone to do business with company "A" that puts customers into a no win situation, then tells them to go do business with company "B", and that is what happened in my case. And they didn't even offer to back up the site and send a copy by email so the problem if it even exist could be fixed by their customer, nor did they offer to deactivate all the plugins and allow the customer into cpanel or the admin to fix the problem. Tell me what do you think?

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'd like to clarify a few things about what happened with your account, because the situation is a bit different from how it's described here.

Your account was not suspended again before it was reactivated. It was suspended four separate times over the course of a few days, each time for exceeding the Entry Process limit. Each time, the suspension lifted after the cooldown period, giving you full access to account and your website. The account was then suspended again within 1-2 hours because the same issue kept recurring.

This pattern strongly suggests that something on your website, likely a plugin or background process, is consuming processes very aggressively. This is not something caused by our platform, it's something running within your site.

Between suspensions, you do have access to your account and your site's admin panel, so you can investigate and fix the issue. One practical tip: since you're using a custom domain, you could temporarily point your domain's DNS away from our hosting. That would stop traffic from reaching the site and prevent the suspension from being triggered again while you troubleshoot.

Regarding premium hosting: yes, premium plans do offer higher resource limits and more detailed usage metrics, which can help with diagnosing issues like this. But upgrading is by no means required, and it wouldn't fix the underlying problem. The root cause is something in your website that needs to be addressed regardless of which hosting plan you're on.

Finally, we do offer customer support through our community forum, where both staff and experienced community members help with exactly these kinds of issues. I can see that you haven't signed up there. You're very welcome to do so and ask for help troubleshooting the Entry Process usage on your site.

We understand the frustration of repeated suspensions, and we'd genuinely like to help you get this resolved.

I just worked intensely one day on my site and I was blocked

I just worked intensely on my InfinityFree developing the site for one day without publishing it, so only me, and I was blocked for 24 hours for CPU limit trespassed, it's unfair, how could I test my website if I can't even work alone on it? I tried to contact the support at least to have more details how it could happen, but there is no support at all for free accounts.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand it's frustrating to be suspended while working on your site.

It's worth noting that resource limits like CPU usage aren't purely based on the number of visitors. A single user can trigger these limits if the site is running resource-intensive processes, such as heavy plugins, page builders, or background tasks. So even solo development work can sometimes exceed the limits depending on what the site is doing.

Since your review is anonymous, we're unable to look into your specific account to see what happened. If you'd like us to look into it further, we'd encourage you to sign up on our community forum, where both staff and experienced community members can help you understand what caused the suspension and how to avoid it going forward.

While free hosting is indeed more restrictive than premium hosting, we do try to provide a service that's useful and easy to use.

Restricting file permission changes isn't done to force you to upgrade to premium hosting. It's a matter of user-friendliness. The simple fact is that after 10 years of running this service with millions of websites, I have not encountered a single case where someone had a problem that could be solved with file permissions. Meanwhile, I've encountered many situations where someone messed up their file permissions and corrupted their website or locked themselves out of their own files. So we disabled this because it rarely helps and often causes problems.

If you have a problem that you think might require changing file permissions, please open a topic on our support forum so we can help you solve it (and see whether it's really a matter of file permissions).

USERS BEWARE. Fake Free Hosting is a lie and a scam!

For a couple of months, it was fine, I was of course the only user/visitor to my site as I used it for testing and learning, then they slowed down my usage and say you have exceeded your resources, when I logged into the control panel, it showed I had not. I kept using it for another week, then I couldn’t log into or browse my own site or the control panel in my account. Only this page appears: ‘This domain has been suspended for reaching server limits or similar.’ now I can’t even get a backup of my work of 2 -3 months. Fake Free Hosting is a lie and a scam! Even if they say it’s free forever, it’s only free for a few months. USERS BEWARE.

I'm sorry you had a frustrating experience, but I'd like to clarify what actually happened here.

What you encountered was a temporary platform wide outage caused by an internal database upgrade, not an account suspension. During this outage, some websites did redirect to a suspension page and FTP access was temporarily unavailable, but this affected the entire platform, not just your account. Once the issue was resolved (within less than 30 minutes), websites came back online and FTP access was restored without any data loss.

Your account was never actually suspended. If it had been, you wouldn't have been able to access the control panel at all. The suspension page can appear during outages even when accounts are in good standing.

I'd also like to address the claim that free hosting is limited to "a few months." There is no time limit on our free hosting. Many users have been hosting their website with us for years, and some for almost a decade. You're welcome to check our terms of service or ask in our community forum where long time users can confirm this.

If you log in now, you should find your account and all your work intact. If you do encounter any issues, please reach out through our support channels and we'll help you resolve them.

Numerous emails warning me of account…

Numerous emails warning me of account deletion due to inactivity - and they are not in error.

The reason I gave up using InfinityFree is that I tried to host two sites (redirecting from owned domains).

More often than not, the sites were down and inaccessible. Given how many satisfied hobbyists etc. are customers of InfinityFree, I can only suppose that I was unlucky or did something wrong.

Given my years working in IT support, then IT web security, I doubt the latter, but can't exclude the former.

Whatever, the suggestion is that uptime is nebulous.

As the sites were not mission-critical (and for free hosting, that should be a given), I would not be miffed - except that the downtime seemed to always be when I needed them.

One was merely a page of links so as to avoid synching bookmarks via a third-party, and then other was just photographs as I looked to develop a permanent website displaying my work as an amateur photographer.

As there appears to be no way to actually delete the account, I can only await the day when InfinityFree delete the host accounts and delete the main account through expiry.

For me, ONE STAR (but I'd give zero if it were possible). However, I cannot help thinking I am being unfair because so many seem to find it all works. I *may* create a fresh account in the future to test whether I was just 'one of those accounts' but I doubt it.

EDIT IN REPLY TO INFINITYFREE REPLY
Yes, I MUST emphasis that I strongly suspect that it was just me. The rating is on the basis of MY experience with the service and I don't want anyone thinking I am one of a whole slew of bad experiences.

However, for me it was infuriating.

That said, after leaving this review, I mulled over the last comment regarding creation of a fresh account with a view to trying again. The more I thought about it, the more I became convinced that something may have been linked to something in the way that particular account was operating. Consequently, I fancy that I WILL recreate an account in the future. Not right now as I have a lot going on at the moment, but I will have another go.

From my own IT experience (and probably something a great many will have experienced), sometimes a whole plethora of issues that cannot be tracked down and fixed are cured by deleting and creating fresh accounts. I see that as the way forward, but as I mentioned - not right at this moment.

Thinking on it, I feel that a One Star (preferably zero) reflects MY experience. That said, given that I very strongly feel that it was so focused, I am inclined to think it unfair and so have changed it to 3-stars.

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience with our hosting.

Regarding the uptime issue, it's hard for me to tell exactly what went wrong with your site. While free hosting is indeed not intended for business critical applications, we do strive for a service that has the basics covered, which includes having a good uptime. If that's not your experience, we'd be happy to look into why if you are willing to talk to us about it on our community forum.

That said, if you've decided to move on given your experience so far, that's completely understandable. If so, I wish you best of luck with your future hosting provider.

I'm sorry to hear that you may have lost data on your account.

I'm curious as to why this issue happened though. Do you have any clue as to how or why the files were deleted?

Please note that there have been some issues with our file manager today, with many people reporting that they were unable to see their files. But in those cases, the files were actually there, it was just a display issue. So you may want to confirm with an FTP client like FileZilla whether your files are actually gone or whether it's just the file manager not showing them.

Thank you for your concern about harmful content. We take abuse seriously and work hard to remove such sites from our platform.

However, review platforms like TrustPilot are intended to help potential customers evaluate our service quality, not to report abuse or illegal content.
