I purchased the Console 1 Channel and Fader pack online from Gear4Music. During setup I was to find that the license code for Console 1 Fader was already registered, and there were signs of tampering including sellotape over the top of the original sticker (which had been cut) opened bags containing all the USB cables, and a 5a IEM cable that had absolutely no right being there. Gear4Music were not able to confirm why the product appeared to have been previously registered before I purchased it or why it was received in this condition. After sending all of the info required so that they could investigate, I contacted Softube Customer Support to advise of the same.
Oskar at Softube reached out and provided a temporary iLok license so that I could get the system up and running, which gave Gear4Music time to request and issue to me a new license code. I was relieved to find that when the Fader was authorised it immediately went on the hunt for a firmware update, which gave me peace of mind the unit did not appear to have been used. To date, nobody has been able to verify why the unit was pre registered, or to whom. The whole thing took about 36hrs to resolve, which was a bit frustrating, but once it was up and running, I quickly realised that the products are top class.
As someone who is used to both analogue and digital workflows, this thing is a dream to use, and definitely helps the user to vibe with the production, making mixing music fun again!
I'm giving the 5 stars to Softube, who deserve them for their amazing product and fantastic customer service, contacting me early on a Sunday morning to get me started.
The support is so slow, very long answering delay and no reaction at the end... and this is annoying while you're on a mixing session and in need of a specific tool!
Very disapointed.

Any time I have raised an issue with the SOFTUBE support team they have got back to me with a solution within 24 hours (this has also happened over a weekend), and they always follow-up to see if the issues have been resolved and offering further assistance if it is needed.
