Consistently Helpful

Thanks again to Cornwell Wiltshire Farms. I frequently order meals for my dad, who struggles in older age. They've been consistent and reliable with deliveries, but flexible when there are issues. And there can be issues sometimes when dealing with older customers, who aren't able to be reliable themselves.

Can't comment directly on the food, but my dad seems happy.

Insecure and awful service

In the last month they upgraded to new hosting software, doubled the price of the hosting package and there's been a catalogue of issues following the upgrade:
* Messed up the admin account. The new admin username was the same as the old admin account's password. Password was unknown and took 5 days for support to resolve.
* SSL certificates have expired on mail and web servers, meaning that it is not possible to download email. 5 days later I'm still waiting a response.

I've used TSOHOST for many years and they were generally reliable, although support was mediocre. As per other reviews, things are randomly breaking and there appears to no longer be any support.

Note, they are also run by GoDaddy, so probably worth avoiding them too.

Decent Alcohol Free Beer

Ordered from them a few times and been meaning to leave a positive review.
All the beers are alcohol free and I think most, if not all, are gluten free and vegan?

There's definitely been a closure in the taste difference between alcholic and non-alcohol beer, when you are looking for an easier night. And these are great. Particularly like the Stoker's Stout.

And they deliver promptly and reliably.

Used them a couple of times. Easy to navigate the website, quick delivery, reasonable prices. And the blades I've bought so far have been sharp and lasted (although not used a huge amount as yet).

A Mixed Experience

I ordered a weights bench and few other smaller pieces. The staff in the Edinburgh shop were helpful enough and I placed the order with no hassle.
Whilst this was possibly a fault with the courier, only the weights bench was delivered. And I had to make several phone calls and send several emails to resolve things, eventually. It was only when I threatened to contact my credit card firm and do a charge back for the whole order, and suggested they could then come and collect the weights bench at their own expense, that their customer service team actually reacted and sorted out the missing items, which have since turned up.
It's also worth noting that in-store staff seem to have fairly limited power, citing they would have to contact customer services to resolve the issue and customer services seemed to the focus of issues.
Maybe I was unlucky, but still not the best experience.
The bench and other items are all decent in themselves though. No issues there, and everyone was polite throughout.

Hassling Daily Emails

Requested a quote. Turned it down. Have been getting daily emails asking me to accept the quote, even after the date for the coach hire has passed. Have requested them to stop sending emails, but this has been ignored.

I needed spare parts to fix our 10 year…

I needed spare parts to fix our 10 year old scooter. I dealt with customer support over WhatsApp and following a few exchanges and photos I was able to order the correct parts, which were delivered fairly quickly despite the postal strikes. And our scooter is up and running again:-)

Ordered from Wagama Edinburgh on 12th…

Ordered from Wagama Edinburgh on 12th March. Food turned up cold, but Wagamama's couldn't do enough to sort it out. Only incompetence from Deliveroo messed this up- they tried to keep some of the refund from Wagamamas! Ultimaley did get a refund. They did their best to help, including phoning Deliveroo to try to ensure the full refund. Will use Wagamama Edinburgh again, but will be avoiding Deliveroo in future though.

Ordered a meal from Wagama Edinburgh…

Ordered a meal from Wagama Edinburgh that was delivered late and cold. Wagama were willing to refund the full amount including delivery. Deliveroo failed to honour and tried to credit my account instead of provding a refund. They also kept the delivery charge, despite it being their fault, and both Wagama's and myself contacting Deliveroo.

Wagamas were great. Deliveroo could not have been less helpful.

Forget hot water. Now no showers.....!

Since December there have been issues with a lack of hot water in the showers. Last week the showers were shut "until further notice". I have tried contacting the Edinburgh Gym - no response. I contact the central customer services. They informed me there is a growing list of complaints from customers about the showers and equipment generally, but that the Edinburgh Gym is not even responding to The Gym central customer services!

I'm cancelling my membership. I'd rather run in the snow and get a hot shower at work, than get sweaty in the gym and not have a shower.

Mixed experience.

* Watch itself is great.
* Strap isn't as nice as it looks on the website.
* Had issues with with the spindle for the strap popping out meaning the watch falls off my wrist. Have tried replacing a few times.
* Despite unsubscribing from their mailing lists several times, I am still being spammed by this firm and had to raise a complaint with the ICO for Kartel failing to adhere to UK GDPR rules.

Awful experience

Unprofessional service. Have cancelled order and now chasing to get my money back. May yet go to a charge back via credit card and trading standards if monies not received swiftly. See correspondence log below:

22nd July. Ordered bedding online for collection in Edinburgh. Received order email and noted would receive dispatch email.
30th July. After hearing nothing, went to Edinburgh store to see if order had arrived. Told it had not.
30th July - 5th Aug: Sent various emails via website contact form (which is fully of bugs) and other addresses found on-line. All ignored.
4th Aug: Found customer service email on website was stated as being "[email protected]" !?
5th Aug: Phoned store. Eventually called back to be told order had arrived on 28th July! One member of staff seemed genuinely concerned. However, store manager, "Caroline", seemed disinterested in my complaint.
5th Aug: Received dispatch email from customer services stating order would arrive in 2-3 days.
5th Aug: Have cancelled order, as no idea where order actually is and Laura Ashley certainly not worthy of my custom to be frank.
