I've been a member for a few years now, and SoundFly is a rock solid organization for creative musicians, composers, and producers. Courses are well made, instructors are supportive and knowledgeable. It's a great place where you can expand or advance your creative talents, or check back on technical details from one of the courses when you're stuck trying to mix something. Soundfly was, and still is, excellent for me. Initially I took two music theory/composition courses, and those really clicked for me. Some of the content I had intros to before, but suddenly it all made sense. Beautifully described, demonstrated, and illustrated with examples. Each week we would have a mini assignment -- a basic 60sec or so composition based on that week's content. Turn it in and get wonderful written feedback from the instructor. Nothing like having to create something to give you that experiential understanding of the sounds and progressions. After the first two courses I sampled a number of the production and mixing courses. So much expertise for musicians, song writers and producers -- or for those of us straddling them all. If you have the desire to up your game, you definitely can do it here! Really good stuff!
