My sister has been getting really gender essentialist lately and it's driving me insane. Just constantly mentioning gender pertaining to roles down to things like painted nails, high heels, and taking the trash out to the curbside.
So I'm saying this with my whole chest
I'm nonbinary
I've been nonbinary since 2016. The only people that really knew were my roommates and very close friends irl. I mean tumblr knew and I've been using he/they pronouns a lot, slowly putting it out there in other forms. My signature at work even has it. I'm still nonbinary. I'm amab, and yeah I'm still masc presenting for the most part, but that doesn't discount my identity.
My sister has been getting really picky about things like the fact that I occasionally paint my nails and wear boots with small heels on them. This is just what I do now. Heaven forbid she saw me when I would wear eyeshadow.
Anyways hi. I'm still nonbinary. I prefer they/them over he/him, but have no problem with he/him because of how I look. I'm 6'5" 350 pounds. I look like I can pick up a pig. I'm still nonbinary and will continue to exist as such regardless of other people.
