Something about how Arcee died and came back wrong but nobody noticed she (died) came back wrong.

Before dying, she's suicidal and endangered everyone with those impulses and lack of regard for safety in an active war as a security officer. After dying, she's… More alive now than before. There's nothing left to lose. Now she's a thrill seeker who's going to make up for all of the time she lost to grieving and depression and apathy.

Also.

Recklessly endangering everyone. And also. Has a complete lack of regard for safety. But for the pursuit of fun now. Instead.

I know we wrote this but. I am going to pace about this now.

wwhen you're a telepath and he's an empath (and you wont tell him because you think you're sparing him from being alienated even though its Worse for him because he doesnt know why he thinks and feels for everyone around him and leads to more alienation) and you two "fell in love at first sight" (because you're both aliens in your own home and he was the only one who understood you implicitly and never questioned the telepathy you hide from almost everyone) and no matter what universe it was, you two cant stay apart from each other like a pair of magnets even under the threat of death and AND AND

his evil ass (social ver of) dad is your best friend and you dont serve him, you serve your best friend(megatron) above all else even to the point of destroying yourself and everything you and The Cause stood and fought for because he is a radical and dangerous and disloyal to The Cause (megatron) and is saying what everyone else is thinking but wont say and is putting a target on his back on purpose and will get himself killed over his arrogance. and you dont do anything for him or say anything directly or defend him publicly.

to say nothing of how he keeps pulling you back into your "humanity" even though you're trying to be less "human" because wowee feelings suck so terribly and hurt forever and you two have been divorced since forever anyways but he's still the only one who understands you and you know you're the only one who understands him.

factions and different regions within (kaijuworld) utilize "dots" and otherwise symbols as a means of communication.

its not really a written language, like someone would use to write a book or an article or something. its more like a second language thats primarily used to communicate more specific concepts - likely concepts specific to a region or a faction. which could include religion, stories, or maps.

they vary, obviously. i could see the railway trying to push for a okay if you all wont stop using two different writing systems, then lets try to make one universal secondary writing system.

which is. well! not! good!

some systems are more public than others. id also say that some insiders of factions / whatever may not even know the full extent and meaning of symbols depending on job or rank.

they'd probably show up on clothing, bodies, objects, walls / landmarks more often than paper or screens - although they do show up on paper and screens in more private / closed settings.

arcee is dead. she's DEAD. she DIED trying to kill starscream in the shootout that took megatron out briefly too. where she got flung out into space in tfp. and in tfm came back hopped up on the very same blood megatron was / is on. nobody knows shes dead and unicron knows what is keeping her body and spark going, she didnt tell anyone, shes not GOING to tell anyone.

i think the "shadow zone" soundwave was thrown into briefly <- RENAMING IT ONE DAY / "silent hill" is a real place. a place you can go to. it also happens to be the source of ghosts and other paranormal activity on earth. possibly cryptids. unicron is the god of dreams, nature isnt his only realm.

so what does that make for arcee? esp if she died (and is likely why unicron cant even use her as a host) and is unusable as a host. if she's just here. left to her own devices, so to speak?

she probably walks a sort of weird, wavy, inconsistent line between the physical space and the shadow zone. maybe even a really annoying main character epicenter of a LOT of weird "paranormal" alt reality bullshit that takes a longer time to set in and affect others who arent. well. affiliated with.

which leads me to go oh thats why mutex hired her. and why elita instantly knew something "bad" happened when she stepped foot into the ark and saw arcee.

and is even funnier because i genuinely do not think tfm arcee gives an IOTA of a fuck about weird paranormal religious bullshit. and probably doesnt really believe in as much as someone like drift or lifeline would. she doesnt caaare shes going to jacks poetry slam night shes getting into the smiths rn shes trying to beat out knockout in street racing shes baiting airachnid she doesnt have TIME for th

whats she supposed to do about slenderman? (shes a former elite. and this is kindof in the job description of the elite.) shes got more important things to do…

thinking about how the tfp animators put so much love and attention into starscreams legs as well as giving him compromising shots. a LOT of sexualized, compromising shots. like. fowlers intro, for starters. or when smokescreen ran him down and there was the "pantyshot". among others.

something about how tfm starscreams greatest "asset" is his body and how he puts out. hes hypersexualized and hypersexualized himself as a trauma response and means to cope with the constant sexploitation / abuse before and during the war. so the camera frames him with compromised, sexualized shots. <- the format i want to put tfm in is, after all, an interactive webcomic that varies in stylistic choices and shots and formats depending on the narrator of the given issue.

i dont think there'd be a lot of shots like that in certain contexts - scenes with optimus, for example, as optimus is viewed as both a father and a safe person. but i cant say the same for megatron who is Fixated On Controlling Starscreams Sexuality, despite being a father figure.

and there's something to be said, i think, about how megatrons views and control, despite being based in a need to protect, doesn't look very different from the views of others who want to own and dominate. something about how domestic violence comes from replicating larger paternalistic / patriarchal ideals in the home, spurred on by fascism and the idea of bodies as property.
