I fell off the unending journeys and thought that before I catch up, I'll reread everything from the beginning first to rehash my memory

I chose to read on tapas but I encountered a small issue — on episode 21, Sesame suddenly learns about Kaien (who is helping the Ala Mhigan resistance in Stormblood) and is quite distressed about it. Episode 22 onwards, they're together already and then in Episode 23 shadowbringers begins. It's an odd cliffhanger and makes their relationship feels a little bit like a whiplash. (Not that I mind, I love everything about them, it was just odd.)

Did some episodes fall through the cracks, or is that just the way you wrote your story? I originally read through Tumblr so I have very hazy memories of the early era as I wasn't quite following you then, maybe it was a text post or something.

BWAHAHAHA oh yes Ive been going and slowly working backwards in the chapters 🙂‍↕️ (id say about 70% of hw and like 90% of stb is missing... smhh this is what I get for writing with no plan and updating out of order 😔)

Anyways yes its jarring because there in fact, id an entire arc dedicated to Ses and Kaii's reunion except the problem is its all in my head LOLLL

#asks#Lmaoooo#Ugh ive been meaning to go back and draw more stb chapters..#i keep saying I wanna build morr Kaiien lore too and theres like several details that is needed for even more future story....#Ok fine after I do the latest one i get off my ass and work on older chapters#actually a few years ago i did write the beginning of Ses and Kaii's relationship but by now ive completely retconned the whole thing#..... so if you scroll far back enough you can see the first version LOL#Anyways Ill say Ses and Kaiis relationship was not very good in the beginning heheheh.... it takes a lot of effort on boths ends to make it#work but now look at them... cant stay off eachotger smh

Eternal aggravation is extremely good btw

And… Yeah he def knows 😭 and Emet is so mad (if u look at one of my prev Virtue Varis doodles Virtue mentions he can’t go to Garlemald cuz someone will kill him, that’s Emet lol)

I’d like to say Virtue and Emet know eachother but beyond that I shan’t say 🤫

Yes ! Various reasons but mainly, for Saffron, its a more genetic thing (Garlean blood stunted tail growth) and also her excelerating her age didnt give her body enough time for her tail to mature (lil nubby forever...), Cara is somewhat similar in that he stunted the growth of his tail (and horns... and scales... hes missing a few face and body scales and his horns dont fully resemble any canon shaoe cuz it never grew all the way) because of his magic (kinda shocked his system so some scales/tail wasnt able to fully develop)

And I also like the little nubbies heh
