Favorite Genre to write: Most of my stories are angsty smut (or smutty angst) because I love touch-starved characters that find a difficult time opening up to someone due to whatever self-image they have, only to realize that the person they befriended for however long is the only one they are comfortable enough with to be themselves and so when they come together, the flood gates open and they let go completely and throw all of their heartbreak and healing into intimacy with one another and in a way, they are both becoming whole through their emotional and physical connection.

I'm seeing so many jokes about fanfiction when October rolls around every year, and I can't help but think of if I'm one of those writers that these videos are talking about? Like, there is this fic I've been working on for years (writer's block is horrible) and it naturally falls in the "monster fucking universe" and I genuinely have this strong feeling that if I ever finish it, it will be one of the stories that readers are either extremely disgusted by because it is just unacceptable, or extremely turned on by because it's a werewolf and it's October and it's a beloved character that doesn't get enough attention and it's based on Jane Eyre so you know, Classic Literature is mixed in there as well.
All is to say, I wish I can finish it so I can find out what category this story, and by extension, my interests as a writer, falls under.
