Summary:

After his divorce, Gerard Way feels as though there is nothing left for him. But when he gets a call accepting his audition to perform the National Anthem for the Los Angeles Dodgers, things might just be looking up. However, a mistake with the booking leads to several issues. The main one involving former Broadway star, Josh Groban. Josh Groban just lost the only woman he ever loved. After Natalie McQueen broke his heart and moved out, Josh's life is in shambles. Dejected and depressed, Josh is more than ready to get back out there by performing the National Anthem. What happens next changes the course of his entire life. By the doings of Lin-Manuel Miranda (and the grace of god), the duo meets again. The pair are forced to work together. Equally displeased with the situation, the two slowly learn coexist, their feelings towards the other slowly bubbling into something greater, something they don't know if they're ready to face.
