I am not holding out hope for official june egbert to be good. i do not think official june egbert is going to do a single thing to save any of this. this story has had plenty of opportunities to put transfemininity front and center in this way without her and it just never has. there have been so many missteps that if the story manages to handle this without making some *major* transmisogynistic pitfalls i will consider it a fucking miracle. I would be ecstatic to be proven wrong but there has not been a good foundation laid out for this at all.
