pupcup part WEDDING EDITION!!
• about their wedding. hehe, I think they'd have a cute lowkey wedding with their friends and family, an intimate little thing
• they probably flipped a coin to decide who wears a suit and who wears a dress. cuphead wore the dress, boris wore the suit
• YES boris cried when cuphead walked down the aisle. YES cuphead started joking and posing right then so he wouldn't cry too.
• pebble was the ring bearer
• mugman and bendy were the maid of honour and best man respectively so they kept trying to one-up each other in friendly competition thru the entire wedding
• shelly was the flower girl and she LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT
• when it came to the bouquet toss, cuphead misunderstood and LAUNCHED IT directly into mugman's face
• ik they had the CRAZIEST first dance ever. cuphead put on the loudest swing possible and THREW himself at boris without a second to waste. boris had 0 preparation so he was like WAIT WHAT WE'RE DANCING NOW?? and cuphead was like CMON CMON WE'RE WASTING TIME NOT DANCING GO GO GO!!!
• and they're both wonderfully terrible dancers
• I don't think they'd go with traditional rings, I feel like cuphead would get a band of gold around his handle, and boris would get a gold ring ear piercing
• they'd have the funniest wedding pictures too cuz neither of them can stand still long enough to be serious
•between boris being jewish and the cup culture thing about breaking glasses, oh my god so many glasses are getting broken😭
• boris proposed and he had the whole thing planned for like a YEAR and he probably custom ordered the handle thing (or just made it himself with mugman's help) and he was SO NERVOUS
• and it didn't even dawn on cuphead that he was being proposed to until boris was down on one knee rehearsing this beautiful heartfelt speech
• the cuphead screams like a dying animal over him and says yes before boris can even ask😭😭😭 marrying boris is a total no brainer for him! boris is his boyfriend and his super best friend, why WOULDN'T he want to spend the rest of his life with him??
• and cuphead wore those fuckass red sneakers under his dress.
• yk that one rhyme thing brides follow sometimes? im bad at explaining but it's like "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" cuphead's "something blue" is mugman

bc porcelain toons have a band of gold over the handle instead of a ring on the hand, I can see holding the handle as a sort of intimate, possessive thing? it's a nonverbal way of saying "this toon belongs with me", and almost certainly not a thing you'd do in public, it's almost risque? 😭 porcelain toons see them and think "DAMN OKAY BRO NOBODY'S TAKING HIM FROM YOU?"
but boris has NO IDEA. he does this OFTEN and for long periods at a time, so he looks so crazy possessive to other porcelain toons😭😭😭. to him, it's just a way of staying close to cuphead and making sure he doesn't run off and die somewhere. the first time boris does it, cuphead goes still and looks surprised, but when he realizes boris doesn't know he just starts giggling to himself and decides to keep it a secret.
mugman almost bursts a blood vessel when he finds out tho. and that's how boris finds out!

these are random, honestly i thought of them on the spot because i dont ever weite headcanons, usually… but here are some prompts/hcs!!!
pupcup headcanons/prompts
1. cuphead actually remembers every little detail about boris, subconsciously or not— every word that man says, it stays in the back part of his brain and eventually creeps out towards the front during the most random moments.
example (not canon, obviously) :
C: “i mean, sure, hawaiian doesn’t sound bad, but boris doesn’t like pineapple on his pizza.”
M: “… so?”
C: “so, he doesn’t like pineapple on his pizza. hawaiian has pineapple on it.”
M: “yeah, but, we’re not having ‘em over cups, why’s that matter?”
C “.. i know that, i was just saying—“
M: “you were just saying that boris doesn’t like pineapple on his pizza and that doesn’t mean you like him or something— yeah, yeah, i know your whole spiel by now.”
C: “.. right.”
2. they frequently have staring contests. cuphead absolutely sucks at them, boris lets him win anyway because he likes seeing cuphead get all excited and giddy.
C: “HAH!— i won! i beat ya again!”
B: “yes, yes you did.”
3. after boris realizes that cuphead can’t read, he dedicates a portion of his day to helping cups learn— cuphead refuses at first but eventually gives in when he realizes that boris isn't mocking, teasing, or making him feel small because of it.
4. (before dating?/crushing) : the first clue to cuphead liking boris was when he would always get a little louder, more talkative, more.. obnoxious whenever boris was around he spoke too fast, he couldn’t focus, he constantly looked over to see if boris was looking.. yeah he became a big mess.
5. the first clue for boris liking cups was that he became more attentive. he hovered and lingered longer, he didn’t voice it aloud— never, but he did little things behind the shadows. fetching him things whenever needed, placing himself infromt of dangers, etc.
uhmmm, yeah i’m not good at headcanons, hopefully these are.. decent! i’ll try to see if i can come up with better ones or something, but i already feel bad enough that it’s taken me this long to get back to ya, SORRY AGAIN
