Important dates for artists: fic summaries will go up for review on May 25th and summary claiming will happen May 31st! (You can use a proxy to claim on your behalf if you won't be available at that time.)

It’s a fandom fest that pairs writers with artists in order to create epic fanworks inspired by the world and characters of the BBC show, Merlin. Writers will write a minimum of 25k, and artists will create at least 1 completed piece to accompany the fic! Artists can pre-match with a writher they want to work with, or participate in our anonymous claiming system where they can choose someone to work with based off the fic summary/details.
We hope you will decide to join us for another amazing year of Merlin fanworks! This is ACBB’s 10th year running, and we’d love to have you on board for the big anniversary!
It's a fandom fest that pairs writers with artists in order to create epic fanworks inspired by the world and characters of the BBC show, Merlin. Artist sign-ups remain open until May 18th, and claiming will take place on Saturday, June 1st.

The time is almost upon us! Artists’ rough drafts will be due by this Saturday, August 5th.
As a reminder, we are asking for a DRAFT, not a finalized piece. Your work is not required to be beta’d or polished at this time. Artists and betas will have up until the assigned posting date to fully complete & ready your piece(s).

Remember to include your draft in your email as an attachment, and please remember to fill out the little questionnaire completely.
We will be building the schedule based off your responses. If you do not submit by the deadline, we cannot guarantee we will be able to schedule your posting date according to your preferences.

What kind of “art” is allowed for ACBB? Generally traditional art, graphic art, photo-manipulations, videos, fanmixes, and podfics! But if the story inspires you to express yourself in a less common format (i.e. cake shop AU fanfiction and you’d like to make cakes that are visible in the story and take pictures of those), you are welcome to discuss what you’d like to create with your writer and the mods!

It's a fandom festival that pairs awesome writers with amazing artists in order to create epic fanworks inspired by our favorite BBC Merlin show! Writers must create a fanfic of at least 25,000 words or more. Artists must create at least one (1) finished piece.
Writer summaries will go up for review on May 29th, and artist claiming will happen on Saturday, June 4th.

You're also welcome to join our Tavern Discord Server (18+) to get exclusive access to our ACBB channels, to join in some friendly get-shit-done sessions/sprinting, to meet other Merlin enthusiasts, and to stay on top of ACBB news!
