The first time Nobara dances ballroom again, after all those years of locking it out, is with a stranger at a contest venue.

And it's... Rusty.

Uncoordinated.

It's clearly not his dance of choice and, while hard to discern for an untrained audience or partner, she finds her own steps lacking, suffering from years of missed practice.

And it's so, so much fun.

Her memories may be a bit scrambled but she feels like she hasn't enjoyed herself like that in a very long time.

It is not the last time she sees that stranger, always coming across him seemingly by chance. It takes her until the third meeting to ask him his name.

Somehow, even though she could swear she never told him, and he swears they had never met before the venue with a smile, Pas De Deux has been calling her by hers since day one.

She supposes she must have forgotten about that too.
