Idk if you've said it somewhere but I thought I might as well ask lol.
How do you take pics of your traditional drawings so there's no shadow or anything? They all look so clear
Also love your art sm I've been a fan since like 2019/whenever the early Sanders Sides stuff was :D
Thanks for liking my stuff!! That's crazy wow, nice to hear
Here's the gist of how I process my traditional drawings
Sometimes I get to be in an environment where the light source is from the side so taking pics is simple.
If I can't change where the light is coming from, I just change the placement of the paper. If all else fails I hunch around different corners of the room or I wait until I'm in a place where I can take a good pic
If the paper itself is misbehaving, corners curling too much or it's not staying, I use tape or some kind of small weight like whatever's on the table to press it
If the room is dark the pic will be low quality, so I have to wait until the environment is bright enough
Take a few pics until some look good and all the drawings fit in the frame, then edit it in with the gallery/photo app's basic tools as needed. I use a lot of cropping, white/beige digital pen, adjusting contrast/brightness/exposure as needed.
It always looks different than in real life but as long as the drawings show it's good enough for me personally
Thanks for asking!
I was listening to your villainous demencia's music playlist and Take the hint started to play, AND BOY i didn't noticed how this song fit this character so well!!
Thank you it was really good 👋💚
Glad you enjoyed it :D a lot of high energy songs in that one. There's more songs I would like to add but in the 2 Demencia playlists I've made I couldn't fit them in. Thanks again for listening
How do you think attraction and beauty standards work in hell? Since great part of the background characters seems to have crazy looking appearance and/or animal appearance
It could be cool to have more worldbuilding in the show, but since it don't see that happening, the fans try to fill the gaps
I've actually been wondering that myself. A lot of fanfics explore this idea and I wanna give it a go. you're so right the universe of Hazbin is so dang interesting and it's tough when there's gaps, but half the fun is fanon I feel
Wanna preface by saying I'm not an expert on attraction and stuff this is all abstract unedited rambling
How do you think the hazbin characters die and why do you think they're in hell??
Personally I'm fine with leaving that up to the show and the rest of the fandom to imagine. Anything could be possible. like I did not expect Vincent "Vox" Whittman to have the backstory he did, but luckily I'm Radiostatic-biased and love character parallels
Do you want to redesign and explore the characters of helluva boss?
Not really, unless we're talking about the seven sins, which I've already done here I'm pretty much done with redesigns for now, so I'm content to simply enjoy canon Hazbin :D
Half serious interpretation of the murder-suicide scene in the finale
cw sexual assault mention
Love the way you draw Vox and Alastor! I was wondering, do you have any headcanons for their relationship?
Thank you for liking it!
Ok SO. Buckle up this is gonna be a long one. These are a mix between my interpretation of canon and my personal narrative for the characters, which i usually keep separate. Basically a mix of canon and fanon for fun, half analysis half fanfiction
Part 2 here
Veeswap AU
A bunch of miserable self-loathing losers they still are
I saw that veesswap! valentino have a strange "connection" with tech, can you explain it more about it?
Is there other changes with the vees?
So I've taken Vox's god complex and given it to Val-
ok but seriously I made this AU a while ago so I don't quite recall what I meant by that.
- He claims he can understand what the machines are saying.
- Since he can see and hear better through data than he can in real life, he becomes very reliant on machines because his senses receive the same data and signals the machines do
- So the line between himself and the machines blur and he can feel what the machines are feeling
- And he didn't need to read up on computer language, his brain just naturally understood it, like psychically
- Combine this with the fact that Val died more than 70 years ago, he's had these powers longer than he's been alive (human)
- I think being self-centred + greedy + connected to a whole dimension's tech so much that you become one with the system = 'I am a machine god' mindset
- Despite all this, Valentino is not a piece of technology himself, just one that can communicate through and weaponise electricity
- Veeswap!Valentino treats tools like people because Canon!Valentino treats people like tools. He's more romantic about his powers compared to Canon!Vox
- It makes him madly attached to Vox and deathly afraid of Alastor
Side note:
- Veeswap!Vox is just this part in Brighter but pink lmao
As for more changes:
cw eating disorders, mentions of sexual assault and suicide
Vox have a hyperfocus/obsession with sharks in canon, does the veesswap! Vox have a different obsession??
Yknow what, I never thought about it so sure, it's a great idea
He probably wouldn't be as obvious about it as canon Vox, but he won't be able to help himself from inserting sharks into his brand
The first post that gets the ball rolling, followed by a couple more where he wears certain shark-themed accessories
It's not long before he gets shark-themed gifts from fans and his line gets more comfortable releasing shark-based designs. Soon enough fans associate him with sharks (kind of like animal themes with kpop idols)
Then he gets Shok.wav on his birthday as a gift from Val. Now he has a seperate account only dedicated to Shok.wav. He's glad because a pet is good for the relatability factor but also he just loves his new son
Now I'm imagining a beach post where @Voxx reveals that Vox is half-shark to his fans
