god. its really frustrating the way internet virality works. everyone who sees success can only do so at the expense of others.

both shahed and shaima+mohammed (wafaa's siblings) were the initial targets of the recent wave of scam allegations, yet only shahed's gofundme was spread and received support as a result. maybe this is because and shaima and mohammed are slightly older, more traditional people who can't work the internet as well, maybe because they were less willing to share the intimate details of their pain online. maybe it's plain luck. either way its pretty shitty that only one person received the proper support after all that abuse, and that everyone else is being ignored.

since shahed reached her goal i want to redirect all of our righteous anger and empathy toward some of the other palestinians who were primarily targeted by this hate campaign. many of the campaigns on this list are stagnating in the amount of donations they recieve, despite the amount of attention they've received lately. of course, everyone here is vetted by either 90-ghost or el-shab-hussein:

mahmoud balousha @helpfamily, who was targeted by one of the biggest blogs on this website and likened to a porn account. [verification]

amira alanqar @amira-world , who was targeted by some arrogant bitch who thought they knew better than actual palestinians how to vet a fundraiser and who also claimed that there was no point in donating to palestinians because evacuations are uncommon. [verification]

basel's cousin fadi ayyad. [verification]

heba al anqar @heba-baker, who was accused of being part of a belgian botnet because of her surname. [verification]

and of course:

omar saad, ahmed @/90-ghost's brother, who is still in khan yunis with his family. ahmed, our sole vetter for a while, has gone through immeasurable abuse in the past week and we all owe it to him as people who have benefited from his labor to take one burden off his shoulders. [verification]

here is samar saad, ahmed 90-ghost’s sister. she also needs help.

i do not want any of us to forget what happened here btw. the social media outrage cycle is very fast and has a short memory and as a result none of us get to sit with the true horror of this hate campaign. we just forget about it and move on as if it was just entertainment. but it’s not, it was real and its effects linger, mutate, and grow with each passing day. everyone on this list is still struggling through a genocide that feels like it’ll never end.

they cannot forget what has happened to them and neither can we.

Why Was My Campaign Left in the Shadows After the Attack? My Voice Needs to Be Heard 👇

I’d like to remind everyone that a few months ago, my campaign was attacked with claims that I am a liar and a fraud. Maybe some have forgotten. Since then, my campaign has been almost at a standstill, with far fewer donations than before.

I wonder: did these false allegations affect you? Did you think about the person behind this campaign and her suffering? I assure you that my campaign is fully documented, and all the allegations against me are completely false.

I am grateful to everyone who defended me and supported me, especially those who shared my posts or raised questions on my behalf. But I wonder why my story has been sidelined since that time and why no one is writing about my suffering in their own words.

This is a war that has been going on for over a year, during which I have lost many family members. Our work has been halted for more than a year, and we have been displaced all this time. And through all of this, what hurts me the most is seeing my mother struggle every day. She has to travel across southern Gaza to get her monthly medicine. My mother suffers from a spinal disc issue, yet is forced to carry more than 50 liters of water daily under these harsh conditions. This water is just one example of the daily crises we endure. In the face of pollution and widespread disease, even a minor illness could be dangerous for my mother, as her immunity is weak.

Please, I ask everyone who supports the Palestinian cause and has a voice that reaches others to share my post. Help amplify my voice to the world. Create posts that explain my story, share it through a simple drawing, or feature it in a public poll that includes the details of my story at the end. To everyone who can help, please do not hesitate.

Tragedy of Jabalia 😥

Despite a full year of resilience in the northern part of Jabalia, and despite their refusal to leave their land and flee to the south, they remained steadfast in their homes and memories, enduring shelling, starvation, and genocide. They faced death day after day, but the occupation, which never ceased to show its brutality, forced them to leave the land they loved in every detail. They left behind their homes, dreams, and even their sorrows, carrying with them nothing but pain. Atrocities were committed against them beyond what the mind can imagine, horrific massacres, where women were buried alive in pits dug for them in Jabalia. The occupation did not leave a wound without deepening it, nor a crime without committing it against these innocent people.

... The world must not turn a blind eye to these atrocities. Share their story so that the pain and injustice they have endured is seen by all, and the truth of what has happened reaches every corner of the globe. Their voices must be heard, and their suffering acknowledged by humanity.

Farewell to Mahasen Al-Khatib: The Artist Who Depicted the Homeland with Her Brush and Was Martyred in the Jabalia Massacre 😭
With deep sorrow, I mourn my colleague, Mahasen Al-Khatib @mahasenelkhatib, who was martyred in the Jabalia massacre.
Mahasen was a skilled digital artist. Although I didn’t get the chance to interact with her much, her spontaneous and cheerful spirit filled every space she was in. Through her talent, she portrayed the suffering of her homeland, illustrating war crimes and standing by her people with heartfelt and impactful artwork.
The last piece Mahasen drew.
May God have mercy on Mahasen and grant her the highest place in paradise🤲🏽.

Lost Steps: Hoor Calls for Her Father in His Absence Amid the Agony of War 🥹

Amid the harsh war that separated her from her father since she was only 10 days old, here is Hoor, the 11-month-old, taking her first hesitant but determined steps, calling out in a voice full of longing and yearning: "Baba, Baba." She hasn’t lived any of her first moments with him; he wasn’t there when she spoke her first word, nor when she laughed for the first time. The war, which stole those precious moments, took her father away, but it couldn’t take away her will to grow and overcome the pain. Today, Hoor is approaching her first birthday, standing on her own feet and walking toward hope, waiting for the moment she will reunite with her father after passing through her early stages of life alone in the shadow of war😥.

Helping Hoor today means more than just supporting a little girl; it is a chance to pave the way for a long-awaited reunion with her father and to save them both from the dangers surrounding them. Every bit of assistance brings her closer to reclaiming her normal life and living her childhood in peace, far from the horrors of war. Do not hesitate to lend a hand to Hoor, for by doing so, you grant her the right to safety, the chance to reunite with her father, and her most basic right to live with dignity and freedom, as every child deserves🙏🚨.
