They're cute and it's Very important that you all know that in this AU, Talia didn’t send Damian to Bruce after she heard about Jason’s death because she was Not taking that chance with her kid. Instead, after later finding Jason and dunking him in the pit, they move to Metropolis (?) and have lots of cats. Also, Dami’s pre-vet and works at one of the city's rescues. I haven't fully mapped ages onto a timeline yet so they're vaguely ambiguous still lol

I like thinking about jason working with the JLA as Red Hood and they love him cuz despite what the Bat says he's efficient, level-headed, competent and so well-planned and intelligent. High mission success rate, 0 collateral damage of civillians, amazing reform for minor criminals, great flexibility with teamwork and surprisingly easy to get along with.
And they wonder why Bruce hates him so much. It can't be that he kills, cuz he doesn't hate his own rogues that much and they kill innocents and way more than Hood does. And it can't be competence cuz Hood is a better fighter than most people. They assume its a paranoia/control thing
And then a big battle takes them to Gotham for a final stand, and they protect civilians and defeat the bad guys but they win and they're all tired and run ragged.
Jason looks like he's about to drop and his men are running to catch him, faster than the bats or anyone else. And the first thing jason does is ask if their families are okay. By name, all of them. Then civilians rush up calling for Red Hood asking if he's okay or needs help.
Before they can do anything the people of Gotham rush to jason, because despite Bruce and the bats opinion, he's their hero.
And the JLA realizes that maybe it jealously. That even though he's spent years creating this persona, and in his mind keeping Gotham safe, with his perfect moral code, they don't embrace him but the crime lord with red in his ledger and blood on his hands.
What Bruce can't see, can't fathom is that Jason's done more for the people of gotham than he ever truly did, because jason refuses to let them die for his moral code, while Bruce will continue to let them die for his.
Just ppl realizing that bruce is bitter about jason actually being better at the 'hero' thing even though jason doesn't consider himself a hero. (He says he isn't a hero infront of the JLA and Diana says "No, but you are a warrior." It makes his day)
Idk something about bruce refusing to admit his methods, that he's done so much to uphold' dont work as well as he wants them to is very pleasing to me.

Because Gotham takes care of their own and as much as Bruce pretends, he’s not one of them really. He was still raised in an ivory tower in Bristol and doesn’t understand what it’s like to actually live in The City. 
And Jason does. Because he was one of them. IS one of them.

The few interactions Dick and Kyle have are Dick sooooo not liking Kyle and not even trying that hard to hide his face about it while Kyle just Doesn't Really Care about Dick's opinion. Which I think is so funny. "They're so similar! they would get along!" okay but what if when one entered the room, both of them had kill bill sirens go off in their head and had to act like they were fine? and then I had to do a lil jaykyle doodle of it that was inspired by that page where Dick meets Kyle as Donna's Boyfriend for the first time (below cut)
