Wanted to spend the holidays drawing some Faerie forest 🍄 (turns out it was more of a long exercise on composition and values. also horses)

Hi I love your cruel prince art! Is there anywhere you have it all collected in order to read sort of "manga style"??
Hi!! I made this index site to gather all the chapters I made, I hope that it is more helpful for reading!
I love your art style! The details, the facial expressions, the surroundings!!!!
I love several artists who draw Jude and Cardan, but I adore how you draw them as actual 17 and 19 years old! They look young but have so much personality and density! <3 <3
You should be proud of your work!
Quick question, do you ever thought of drawing the other characters more?? Like Madoc and Oriana, or Dain?
Maybe drawing the dinner table where Jude asks permission to be a knight and Madoc says she’s not a killer. It would be so cool to see Jude staring him with inner rage and thinking ‘he has no idea of what I am’ with a blurry image in the comic of future-Jude with a bloody sword. Or maybe the moment Dain goes to offer her the job as a spy and she reflects ‘it’s one of those decisions which will change all of your other ones’ and the comic panel opens to all the domino effect that decision will bring to her.
Okay, I definitely spiraled a bit lol
Tell me what you think <3
Hey thank you so much for all your suggestions!🧡Yeah I did! I thought about some scenes like the one where Jude fights and poisons Madoc (first book I think? So badass) thank for your words ☺️
Hi Ana! First of all, thank you so much for blessing the internet with your amazing art and comics 😭😭😭
I saw from a previous post that you use procreate to draw! I wanted to ask if you have any brush recommendations that you wouldn’t mind sharing 🥺
Hi!! Thank you so much!!💛💛 Here you go!
- Dry Ink: This one for most of my comics (but now I dont use it as much.)
- 6B: The one Im using currently. You can play with the pressure to make softer lines
- Charchoal Brush: Sometimes to add texture to soft shadows
And the ones that I have purchased:
- Malacabs sketch brush (for the last comic and sketching) This one is meant for sketching, so I edited its opacity to be stronger
- Maxpack Watercolor brush set, I use it sometimes and I love it!! This brushes are a bit tricky so I watched some tutorials haha
HELLO!! I just wanted to let you know you should repent for what you've done to me with your jurdan comic. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT CAUSING ADDICTION IN OTHERS HM. ARE YOU ASHAMED!!/j
In all seriousness it was so incredibly beautiful, I loved it so much!! I hope you're having an amazing week!! <333
Hey thank you so much your so kiindd!! 🧡🧡 HSHA is nice that I can spread my own addiction to others !😂 have a nice day ^^
Love your art so much. I read all of the Folk of the Air series this year. I was wondering, because their are so many renditions of the characters from so many other lovely artist out there already how did you solidify your character designs of them? They feel so grounded and almost official!! (tbh I thought it was at first haha) They stand out amongst the crowd it’s really amazing!
Do they?? Aa thank you!! 🧡 Im not really sure, I think the design is a mixture of things that I like? Ghibli,Barbucci, Kamone Shirakama ...I also really admire artists like Carlota Dicataldo and Viria, they make beautiful colored comics.
I try to keep things a bit simple, and not add too many details to the characters in the panels... Also I like to draw Cardan with cold tones while Jude's tones are generally warmer!
