Rain World Iterator OC Ask Game/Questionnaire

want people to ask you questions about your iterator ocs? want to talk about your ocs and don't know where to start? this is the ask game for you! slugcat oc ask game

  1. Does your iterator's name mean anything? In their lore or symbolically? If so, what?
  2. Is your iterator in a local group? Who else is in it?
  3. If your iterator is in a local group, what do they think of their group members? If they are not, do they wish they were in a local group?
  4. When iterators were more connected, did your iterator like to socialize on public broadcasts? Or did they tend to keep to their own group?
  5. Does your iterator have friends outside of their local group? Do they still keep in touch? Do they want to still keep in touch?
  6. What does your iterator like to talk about?
  7. Does your iterator have any specific quirks or niches unlike "typical" iterators? Special jobs, equipment, etc.? If so, what?
  8. What is your iterator's opinion on bioengineering? Natural ability of iterators? A cruel push of artificial will? Something to be moderated? etc.
  9. What does your iterator think of their body? One organism with many moving parts? A giant computer? A small creature stuck in a box? etc.
  10. If your iterator could be anything else other than an iterator, what would they be and why?
  11. Does your iterator have any non-iterator friends/companions? Such as an animal, an ancient, etc.?
  12. How tall is your iterator? Is this an average height for a standard iterator?
  13. How old is your iterator? Compared to their group? Compared to iterator-kind as a whole?
  14. Has your iterator ever modified any part of their body (puppet, city, structure components, things that make up the structure like neurons, inspectors, etc.)?
  15. What did/does your iterator think of their citizens? Their creators? Ancients as a whole?
  16. Does your iterator have an underlying condition (rot, damage, illness, etc.)? How do they feel about it?
  17. How does your iterator feel about ascension? Is it something they want to strive for? Help others achieve? Something to avoid? etc.
  18. Does your iterator have opinions about karma/karmic urges? If so, what are they?
  19. Does your iterator know who Sliver of Straw is? If so, what do they think of her?
  20. Does your iterator know any of the canon iterators? If so, describe their relationship!
  21. Does your iterator have any major regrets?
  22. Where does your iterator live? Describe the region.
  23. When using overseers, what is your iterator's favorite thing to watch/look at?
  24. What do your iterators overseers look like?
  25. When their city was populated, what was it like?

Sure I’ll do this

1) Pages of One Intelligence. I just named her that for the vibes. Perhaps it could mean “several pieces of one central intellect” which is basically a superstructure.

2) Yes. It’s called WindboundFate, and it consists of Senior Anonymous Droplets of Poetry, Any Autumn Resonance, Fifteen Enigmas Counted, and Wonders Upon A Ridge.

3) She sees them all as siblings, especially Droplets and Autumn. Droplets and her specifically are inseparable.

4) She would collaborate and speak with some iterators, but she mostly kept to her own group and a close friend.

5) A few, notably Current of Flowing Streams (her eventual wife).

6) Work, ancients she was fond of, the Slugpup she adopted.

7) Power output is never above 80%, so she is constantly a lil tired. (Not enough to make her woozy but still not completely energized). The structure’s Underhang also has low gravity.

8) She tends to ignore the idea of bioengineering, unlike Droplets who likes to create creatures and bring them to life (for benevolent reason). While good in some aspects, Pages also acknowledges the dangers.

9) She has no idea. Is she the thing in the box? Or the box with the thing? Does she hold herself? Or is she held by herself?

10) Slugcat or scavenger. Despite her reserved nature she is a bit company-starved and would enjoy a close-knit community.

11) Scout, a Slugpup that she is now the adopted mother of. He’s a brave little guy.

12) Standard iterator.

13) Early Gen 2.

14) She doesn’t have the self-confidence for that.

15) Mixed opinions. Her first generation of citizens and her creator were great. Final generation kinda sucked. Though she did have one friend in that generation that she felt adoptive towards (they got murked by void and became an echo).

16) Some minor damage to her power system and gravity modification system in the Underhang. It doesn’t pose an active or future hazard to Pages, so it’s just something she’s adapted to.

17) She doesn’t like working to try and find it. The idea that someone she cared about could be gone forever someday… it scares her.

18) She sees them as unavoidable urges for the lesser species, and knows truly that nobody could be swayed away from them. Also she is SO bound by the Mother passage at this point.

19) She doesn’t know Sliver personally, but she somewhat admires the tenaciousness and effort that Sliver took to reach such a goal.

20) Nope.

21) Not being able to save the citizens who wouldn’t have wanted to go.

22) Mountainside next to a very large lake. Temperature is moderate, so the slugcats won’t burn up if they have some fluff.

23) The landscape, the stars.

24) Teal

25) Fairly comfortable, homelessness was exceedingly rare, slowly turned more research-based as time went on.

man this sentient war is fucked. i just saw a tenno clap her hands together and pull a sixty foot sword out of nowhere before chopping a battleship in half. the camera didn't even go onto her, thats how common shit like this is. my mr2 ass is running a level 6 excalibur and a braton. i think i just heard someone two groups over say "my warframe is strong." i gotta get the fuck outta here

I got the Twisted Child achievement yesterday. Hands down one of the most dreadful and eerie endings I’ve ever seen.

Also it’s kinda funny because Hornet has literally no reason to fight GMS while infested. She prioritizes getting rid of this thing as fast as possible; ain’t no time to go fight a goddess.
