I'm back franklin has a lot of ideas but in his position he doesn't actually have a lot of creative freedom meanwhile percy definetly DOES he's just in permanent writers block. he was the one who interviewed franklin and franklin ended up ranting about his book idea, a sci-fi story about alien cube creatures that invade earth. percy loves his idea, and offers to help him during his free time. as they spend more time together, franklin finds that the main character romantic subplot becomes much more central and he might be taking a little bit of inspiration from percy. bc his boss is fit as fuck.

HEADCANNON TIME, BITCHES ‼️

You have heard of "NGAAG is Amanda Wilson's fav movie". Now get ready for "CDIYW is the fav movie of Lanessa and Venitia. And Franklin."

Franklin uses a lot of modern language (sick, va-va-voom, etc) and that could mean he's a time traveler like André Beetroot and OLM. He claims he invented those words but he's just using future language in an attempt to impress Percy.

Maybe he's from our time, maybe not, but Percy makes him want to stay in the time period of the play.

But once, way before the events of the play, while visiting some period in modern day, early 2000 maybe, he sees a romcom about a DIY themed wedding on the TV, and one side character specifically reminds him of himself. A person, trying to be with someone they love romantically but that can't see them as more than a friend at best, barely even noticing that person. As much as the person tries to tell their feelings/get over it, they can't. So they have to watch, as the person they love lives out their life, without them. Simply a side character, nothing more. And also: gay.

He really likes that film and somehow figures out how to show it to people back in his time. Just like his poems he shows it to the other staff at the mansion.

And SOMEHOW Venitia and Lanessa also get their hands on it. (Aka they are hiding in the closet as Franklin shows it to someone)

They absolutely went fucking INSANE while watching it. (appropriate reaction to clamanda)

• As a child, he got lost in the woods and came across a frightened Will, but instead of snitching on him, he starts bombarding him with questions about his life.

Jane:

• Princess, her father is a cruel king, that she doesn't love but has a father figure in the captain of royal guard;

• Likes Mike as a friend, but don't loves him and reeeally doesn't sees him as a future King :))

• She is trying to delay the wedding as long as possible and to ascend the throne herself.
