Kinda witchcraft related but I found out I have hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome and fibromyalgia and fuck with all of the shit I'm dealing with it's hard to devote myself to my practice. For reference I have Schizoaffective bipolar type, autism, C-PTSD, social anxiety disorder, binge eating disorder, and OSDD but my alters have been pretty quiet, honestly they only come out to protect me really.

Does anyone have any tips?

I love my autism, I would never do anything to not be autistic, what I would change is I would make the world more caring, I would make them not be so snide, so cutting, so hateful, so passive aggressive, I hate having my autonomy and joy stripped from me for no reason by people who are supposed to care about and support me

Just a reminder...

As a witch, and especially if your practice is anything like hands-in-the-dirt, wading into rivers, bones and teeth folk witchcraft, you don't have to settle for anything.

You don't have to wait for good things to happen to you out of the random walk of life. You don't have to be a passive vessel in your own life, either.

You've got magic. Make shit happen.

And I hate how people will act like only stuff like heroin and cocaine actually count as drugs. Weed is a drug, nicotine is a drug, alcohol is a drug! Fucking caffeine is a drug! No I'm not saying you'll face the stigma of addiction for drinking too much coffee, but you are in fact ingesting an addictive substance that alters your mental and physical state just like most people do at some point whether it's a daily or occasional occurrence. Drug use is a normal part of the human experience in so many ways. It's not some atypical misstep only a few morally broken people succumb to it's been a consistent part of our history from the fucking start

Oh, and since I have your attention: z-library (books and textbooks) and sci-hub (gatekept scientific journal articles.) I just ripped a textbook for class off z-library and snatched a required reading from sci-hub. Life is good and education should be accessible at every stage and station of life.

Absolutely be political in your worship.

Aphrodite isn't called Pandemos (of All People) so you can sit around and let the big names capitalise love and serve it only to those who can afford to pay past the persecution. Hermes isn't called Oeopolus (Shepherd) so you can sit around and let a bunch of power-hungry wolves lead a flock of influencable sheep. Apollo isn't called Paean (Healer) so you can sit around while wealthy corporations serve healthcare only to those who can afford not to die. Athena isn't called Ambulia (Counsellor) so you can sit around while the people are being fed propaganda against each other to divert them from the real enemy at the top. Dionysus isn't called Eleuthereus (the Liberator) so you can sit around while freedom is only granted to those whose skins have the acceptable colour while the others die in chains. Zeus isn't called Xenios (of the Foreigners) so you can sit around while the borders are closed to those who need it and only open to those who can give back the money.

The Gods stand with the oppressed, and so should you.
