Look I love unconditional devotion love stories as much as the next person, but there's really something so deliciously raw about conditional devotion.

I have served you and I have loved you for decades, but I will not give up my principles for you. You cut out part of my heart and took it with you down that path that you insist on walking, but you walk it alone. if i wrote twilight there'd be a kid in edward's class who Zones The Fuck Out and daydreams about a story they want to write, and edward would just tune in to watch like a tv show when he's bored in class and he gets genuinely invested and eventually he's like "i know EXACTLY how they can fix this plot hole that's bothering them but how can i tell them that when they don't KNOW i'm their first beta reader"

reading: The Stardust Thief by Chelsea Abdullah - enjoying it so far!! Still need to get my hands on Mirrored Heaven so I can finish the Between Earth & Sky trilogy, very psyched for that <33

last series watched: miraculous ladybug, the most recent season netflix has available for me! Netflix also splits the seasons weirdly here - it's the one where rose, juleka, and a few others get to become miraculous users

last film: new moon, because it's apparently still hoa hoa season

last song: Pirate King, Ateez (after looping Matz by Ateez several times)

sweet or salty: salty, I love most salty foods but am very picky with sweet ones

coffee or tea: tea, though I enjoy a good coffee as well

working on: ... learning the words to Seonghwa's part in Matz! Also a waistcoat that I'm trying to finish tonight
