I love that the "lesson" of Knives Out has, in every movie, been saying that when you are true to yourself you will prosper.
Marta benefited because she was honest, and called an ambulance for Fran. She was kind to Harlan and thus inherited his fortune. Blanc looked her in the eye and said "you are a good nurse" because she was! Had Harlan trusted her to be herself (which she was) he would be alive! Blanc knew the whole time she was there when he killed himself, and allowed her the time to be honest and kind.
Helen and Andi were honest to themselves the whole time. Andi was the only person being honest during the court hearing, and didn't allow the prospect of money or fame to distract her from how dangerous Klear was. Helen wasn't even close to as famous or successful as Andi, but she was kind! She saw that Whiskey was kind, and deserved better then Duke. She knew that everyone of Mile's group was a Shithead, and didn't allow the luxury or fame cloud her head. She knew Mile's had to be ruined and Klear had to be kept out of houses, because she was just as clearheaded as Andi had been in the situation.
Jud was the same! He was kind, he helped Louise, he even influenced Blanc into "losing the game" so that Martha could truly repent and realize what a victim Grace was! He could have been violent, like Wick was, could have shared in the power that Wick was creating, but he was kind. To a fault, to accidentally hindering the investigation, he was kind and thought of others more then he ever thought of himself.
