in college what do we think lucas and max major in, asking (once again) for a fic i’m writing

IMHO Lucas is maybe english bc he loves to read and corrects dustin on metaphor vs analogy in s2 + reads to max when she’s in her coma… something about literature being an escape for him at first and then maybe he grows up to really enjoy Harlem Renaissance authors and better understand his own Black identity (which is a through-line in his book but not well explored by the show except thru basketball which THE DUFFERS NEED TO PAY FOR)

And I think Max isn’t as nerdy and cares about doing something that makes a difference and is hands on. So i see her in something like environmental science (very California) or social sciences like psychology (heal her own trauma & better understand billy)

Just wanted to point something out. Did anyone else notice that Will didn't really get an epilogue? I mean at all?

The older teens had a huge What They're Doing Now hang on the roof.

Mike got a talk with Hopper and his mom, was the DM again and wrote everyone else's endings for them.

Dustin got tons of love from his mom, a kickass 80s movie grad speech, a flirt with the girl from season 2 Snowball

Lucas and Max had flirty fun talk together

Joyce and Hopper got dinner at Enzos and a proposal and a plan for Montauk

Will smiled for a picture while Jonathon and Hopper argued about light and Joyce got a phone call. Will smiled and clapped at the graduation.

Will got no epilogue of his own.

Even in the D&D game, he was powerless due to a suppression stone and given an imaginary bf in a pretend happiness land.

Seriously...did no one notice his story was gone? The way his stats in D&D changed in the end credits and his picture disappeared from Rink-o-mania?

Doesn't Will deserve an actual ending? Isn't that...weird?
