FANDOM, THE TWIN CITIES NEED YOU

Alpha News, our local fascist outlet that "leaked" Jonathan Ross's video of him murdering Renee Good, which also pushed George Floyd conspiracy theories, with an anchor married to loathsome fascist police union boss Bob Kroll (Liz Collin), has set up another doxx line, this time for ICE observers.

WE NEED THEM TO BE OVERWHELMED WITH USELESS INFORMATION.

Please help us! We are under occupation!

Their post about it:

This is something you can do 100% remotely that is VERY HELPFUL to stop observers from being intimidated out of doing this vital work. It is not an exaggeration to say spamming this line will save lives: the more observers we have, the fewer people ICE can abduct, abuse, murder, and send to concentration camps.

PLEASE REBLOG AND SHARE.

may 2026 bring us closer to a Palestine liberated from zionist occupation, and a Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan free from proxy exploitation. May 2026 see more people gain the courage to make the world a little better than before. May we all remember to tend seeds whose trees we may never sit beneath. Consider donating to/sharing The Sameer Project, or Khartoum Aid Kitchen or Focus Congo. All power to all the people. Happy new year.

Shane is so happy to see Ilya in the hospital that you can actually see the fear in that man's eyes. He walks in the room and sees that Shane has, in his infirmity, allowed the words 'WHERE is the man I FUCK' to be written across his forehead and his eyeballs. Ilya walks in the room and Shane says "Heeeey! :D" and you can see the arithmetic going on in Ilya's terrified gaze as he calculates exactly how many seconds he can be in Shane's presence without him just dissolving into a mess because Ilya won't give him kisses. He backs out of the room whispering "Shhh" because Shane "Heart Eyes" Hollander is liable to tell everyone he encounters for the next six hours how many moles Ilya has on his stomach. He sits in his car afterward and Googles shit like 'Do nurses take Hippocratic oath' and 'What is doctor-patient confidentiality' and 'Shane Hollander thirst trap' but that one is just to calm himself down. He texts Shane the 🤫 emoji every hour on the hour for the next two and a half days. Shane responds with 😚 and Ilya spirals.

Y'know upon reflection, there is One Other Dad Allowed: Greg is shown to be a caring and attentive father, being at the ring with his kid like Eric is with Scot! Which is cool, and implies that ffs Eric you could just talk to him he'd get it he's a Dad. But yeah as to Eric's mom, I think when he starts working with Sam/the injury, the background check shows she's like doing her own thing in Regina and Eric is offhandedly like yeah if she didn't show up when I was on TV/making that NHL money she's not gonna turn up now and Sam is like. Well first. I want to hold you. Second, she's on my ON SIGHT list now. Probably also contributes to Eric's issues since he's pretty sure his dad Knew and that was part of his attitude, and he wonders if his mom also Knew and it contributed to her bailing. Which for the record, I think it was never that but her being young and Eric's dad being the worst and just. Sadly some people do just do that.

The rink scene with Greg is so funny because Greg is just being a normal guy at his son's hockey game and here comes Mr. Anxiety On Skates to make everything weird. Greg is not even slightly being rude/homophobic when he sees Scot skating, like he's actually obviously impressed by Scot's skill, and Eric immediately goes into panic freak out mode. Goddamn CALM DOWN you skittish baby deer. I just know there's a moment every morning where Sam contemplates the ethics of spiking Eric's coffee with Xanax.

And YES if Eric would just tell Greg about Scot everything at work would've gone better and he probably would've been very understanding and there would've been no need for Eric's little showdown at the meeting! Instead Eric just comes off as super unfocused out of left field. But I think Eric can't acknowledge Scot's existence because when people ask about the logistics of how Scot ended up with Eric he'll HAVE to acknowledge Sam's existence too. And you think oh just lie but it's always been my headcanon that Eric will omit Sam but he will not outright LIE about Sam once someone else brings him up. In the scene at the mall Eric literally says, "No, I'm not" after Scot says he's gay but then instead of acting like Scot's being crazy for saying he's married to Sam all he says is, "We're not even married." Even with complete strangers (and while the one guy is smirking at Eric!!! go to hell homophobe!!!!) he won't deny Sam. Because I know that deep down Eric has a loverboy heart that he has spent his entire life suppressing but there are times he simply cannot hold it back.

Sam being ready to throw hands with Eric's shitty parents is my favorite idea. Has Sam ever been in a fistfight in his life? Doubtful. (Most I can see is slapfights with Billy when they were younger, enough that Billy runs after he says stupid shit and Sam lunges at him lol.) But is Sam ready to give it a shot any time Eric's childhood is brought up? Absolutely.

i know a lot of you are hardcore "obesity is going to kill you" truthers, and im not gonna convince u otherwise, but i hope u know that medical neglect bc doctors refuse to consider anything other than our weight is a real contributor to our poor outcomes
