okay so. to preface. i’m not a smart person and not that good at theorizing, so none of these theories r rly mine but they’re theories overall i agree with. also in general this show tends to be rly unpredictable and i genuinely think that the ending is going to shock people and defy theories but i like lookin at em anyways.

THEORIES

- i do think caine intentionally messes with their minds and causes abstraction. sometimes he does this because they know too much (ex queenie) but i also think that sometimes he genuinely does it because he’s bored and wants new characters in the circus, like when you’re bored with your hand in cards against humanity and just switch out some or all cards

- i do think, also, that caine himself is burdened with the curse of existence without life. he didn’t ask to be made (does that justify his actions at all? no). overall, he is complex, not all evil and not all good just like the rest of them. i agree with goose when she said he’s an antagonist but not evil

- i think that ribbit was a toxic friend. in general i am fascinated by the past dynamic of ribbit jax kaufmo and possibly ragatha. i don’t necessarily think ribbit was a bad person, they’re all, at heart, victims of the circus and caine, BUT im not sure they were a super healthy friend

- not a theory but i genuinely don’t know what bubble is

- not super relevant but i think jax entered the circus around 14-15 so he’s been there a WHILE

and then my general thoughts on the episode:

- oh jax. oh JAX. please reach out to someone please i beg. PLEASE. you know it’s bad when even zooble is being gentle with you

- i feel ragatha knows more about kinger than she’s letting on

- peak abstragedy. a win is a win

- the dinner scene had me losing my shit genuinely

- RIBBIT NAME DROP!!!!!!!!!!
