Confined to the post-death state of the Gutter, Gabriel Hartnett is stuck eking out a living in its run-off, a killer for hire in a job he loathes. Unable to remember his life, his face, or even his real name, Gabby bounces from gig to gig until he stumbles across somebody else’s murder. Faced with the criminal underworld, a jilted ex-girlfriend, an increasingly monstrous body, and a parade of investors eager to sell him chunk by screaming chunk, Gabby is forced to reckon with what he is and what he ought to be. Conditions are bad, and they're getting worse. The only way out is through him.

you know what, i actually have! but i've been thinking about how to go about doing it. i'd like to get the comic a-go and established first, but i think it'd present an interesting challenge for me. i want to keep the setting kind of strange and esoteric, i'm not a fan of hard, rules-based magic or the like, and i think that's easier to do either visually, or in written form, but i wonder if doing both would convey too much information. i don't know if this makes sense, exactly. but, yes, i do think about this a lot and will probably end up doing it in the future

it came out during a big spate of 'guys wearing hoodies running around open worlds' but remains my favourite. good eye!

that's the fun, they don't have to be! if she gets killed in the process she's still on board it just means she needs to take a day off. sometimes to save her the walk home she'll ask him to stove her head in with a bat and he'll gladly do it. they don't have a great relationship

you know i don't think i've ever drawn them together to show off the height difference. consider this an answer to 'how does he have oral sex actually' question also

of note: he avoids her in the day to day because in a direct conflict there are very few circumstances where she doesn't win. their dalliances tend to be when they're at their most civil, and honestly, even then....
