Hello all! Call me Bella! I figured it was time for a pinned post. Welcome to my blog, here's a quick introduction to the chaos!

First and foremost, I am a devout Christian, terminally Southern, and a legal adult in her twenties. I am also an artist, a writer, and a biology major (one of my professors dubbed me "Champion of the Underdog" in response to a paper I wrote and I decided to make that my whole career.) I love way too many video games and TV shows for my own good and I have many projects, both of the fanfic and original variety. I also love military fiction, cryptids, animals, medical stuff, food...I love a lot of things, actually. We're full of love and whimsy here...or at least we try to be. Suffering from a chronic illness cocktail (multiple physical and mental illnesses) that makes replies very slow, but I promise I'm always down to chat about whatever.

Anon is back on, tentatively now that spam has slowed down, messages are for mutuals only. Extremely liberal with the block button (it's most likely not personal.) Politics/drama free zone. I block donation scam asks and will block and report you for spam if you share them. Asks are otherwise always open, especially if you want to talk OCs (I love yapping about them) or fandom (also love yapping about them.)

My tags are not extensive, and my blog is 5+ years old, so it's incredibly cluttered and poorly organized. I'm trying to fix that, even redo some tags and clear others out, but it's a work in progress. These are the ones I mainly use. If you need me to tag something, let me know.

The three of them connect on a fairly equal level, I feel. Naomi ends up the odd one on out every so often, even though she truly is what holds her family together these days, if only because I think Samantha and Roland 'get' each other in a way Naomi just can't understand until after the Lighthouse War. They lived right nextdoor to a war zone and grew up around mercenaries, and she just did not have that kind of childhood. Which is good, that was the goal with her. She got to know peace and stability. And she didn't have to deal with the fallout when their father got drawn in by an extremist group. But now they all connect over the shared trauma of having everyone's lives in their hands at all times and the stress and responsibility that comes with that.

Well, Naomi absolutely does but Samantha and Roland are a little bit cagey. Until the Incident, of course, and now they tell her the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help them God. No more secrets in this family.

Naomi and Roland only get mistaken for one another in the air. F-22? Check. Can't see the tail clearly to pick out the talons vs. ribbon insignia? Yeah, it's anybody's guess, unless you're someone that knows one or the other well enough to spot the differences. Even though they were very much not trained by the same military, they both throw BFM out the window and do their own thing. They like adding a little reckless flair to things to spice it up and make things fun (because duh, this is Ace Combat we're talking about here.) Naomi is 100% the bolder pilot of the two, though, not even a question about that. Other than that, not really. They're pretty distinct people personality-wise, and it's hard to mistake either of the girls for their brother or vice versa or even for the girls and one another based on reputation. They've each got their own thing going on. Do they have a few similar habits and mannerisms? Yes, but not enough for mistaken identity, I don't think.
