hate when mummy movies use Imhotep as the big bad. He was an architect. Imagine a mummy movie but the mummy is Frank Llyod Wright. And he was buried at the House On The Rock. Ok nevermind that would be a sick ass movie.
Reblog to get this out of MtG and Pokémon circles, since anyone who knows enough about either will get this immediately
ever since I was little I knew I wanted to dedicate my formative years to imagining fictional scenarios
It was the White Witch. She's the one who makes it always winter, always cold.

QUESTION BECAUSE ITS RELEVANT TO ME
Edit: sorry for those with hyphenated names I forgot y’all 😔
interview with the vampire (1994) takes a crazy gay script and uses it for an experiment in how absolutely flat dead zero nothing chemistry their actors can have. whole main cast acting like it’s a table reading over zoom. louis and armand are straight up breathing from each other’s lungs and even my highly trained fujoshi spirit felt nothing
they have claudia saying things like “louis, you and armand are sexually attracted to each other” and the interaction she’s referring is the two of them standing on opposite ends of a room talking completely deadpan like 🧍🏼♂️🧍🏼♂️
however it would be unfair not to acknowledge that the whole time this is going on tom cruise is acting his entire self out like lestat is real and tom cruise wants to fuck him
“so…. it’s kind of like thelma and louise. you remember that one?”
“yeah, i was great in that movie!”
“okay, now remember the characters thelma, and louise?”
“……what about them?”
Just say no...

"Too bad. So sad."
Josie Maran as Marishka in Van Helsing (2004) dir. Stephen Sommers
If you hate Cyclops, I think it’s very likely that you don’t actually hate Cyclops, you just hate the dramatic manchild who only exists to be the love interest of Jean Grey, who herself exists only to be a love interest for him.
Cyclops is a flawed and messed up man. He’s angry, he acts irrationally, but importantly he knows this, and even more importantly he knows how to lock in when the X-men need their leader, and he’s a damn good one at that.
As for him being a love interest for Jean, yes that’s a super important part of his character, but it goes so far beyond him just being her high school boyfriend. He is the first person in her whole life who doesn’t want to control or contain her. He doesn’t fear her, he sees her and loves her. Phoenix and all. Through this lens they stop existing within a stereotypical love triangle, Jean becomes more than some weapon that needs to be hidden from the world like so many stories would like to say, and Scott grows and matures through her, rather than being stunted by his relationship with her.
Years of butchering this character have tried to make me hate him, but it will not work. If Scott Summers has no fans than I am dead.
Buddy Guy on being casted in Sinners.
"Well, they came into my club here in Chicago, and I was surprised. They say, “Look, we want you to play this little part that’s called Sammie.” And I’m saying, “Well, let me see”… Because I don’t have a high school education to be reading long scripts. I did learn how to read and write. I’m like BB King: I’m not fast at it, but if you give it to me and give me time, I can memorize it. But the older you get, the less you can memorize. Whatever can help the blues stay alive, I’m all for it, and I will try anything. I said, I don’t know if I’m good enough to do that. But I’ll give it a try, and if it works, it works, and if it doesn’t, at least I’ll say I gave it a try."-Buddy Guy.

Fandom spaces have GOT to stop finding out about concept art & saying they were supposed to have x or y. That’s not how concept art works, there isn’t a secret better show they decided to hide from you for no reason

“Look at the animation style we could have had!” and it’s a drawing so detailed that the animators would have killed themselves before ever being able to finish a single frame
What really ticks me off when talking about ai is when people are like "it's unavoidable" or "you'll have to learn to use it someday" or "its going to be part of the future" like no it's plenty avoidable actually if you have a spine stronger than a dandelion. You simply say "no" and continue to use your own goddamn brain.
ppl in the notes saying “you’ll see in 5 years” yea sure you’re right i’ve always wanted a machine with 0 actual comprehension ability and writing skills worse than most people to answer my emails for me. you got me
