Help Ammar's family 🍉

A year has passed since the October 7 war, the Gaza Strip war. In this war, Ammar Hammad was born in harsh conditions. He was 3 months old and could not breastfeed from his mother because she suffers from asthma in the lungs and no milk comes down in her udder. There is a report from Nasser Hospital about this. Ammar needs about 10 packs of milk to help him live in these conditions, in addition to diapers and his special clothes. In addition, Ammar's son suffers from a complete tear in the cruciate ligament and cannot work. Therefore, Ammar needs your help to stay alive.
Your donation is part of saving our lives from death. I hope you donate 20$

As for the place to live💔
Our house is completely destroyed. We have nothing left. We live in the middle of shattered rubble.
Everything is broken for us
We hoped that our first child would live a happy life, but everything was destroyed. Ammar's room was destroyed. Everything disappeared in a moment.
We cannot provide a suitable environment to live in. A good environment for our little child to live in.
I am really unable to provide for my little baby.
My husband has a cruciate ligament injury
As for my husband, he suffers from a cruciate ligament injury and cannot work until he can save money to buy our child’s life necessities, such as milk, diapers, and household supplies.
As I spoke previously, my husband is sick with a cruciate ligament, and these are reports on that. I suffer from asthma and lung disease, and I cannot breastfeed my child because there is no milk coming into my chest. Therefore, I need a lot of milk, and milk here is expensive, and I cannot afford that. I hope you understand our situation, my friends.
Please donate to us my friend
If each person gave $20, you would help us live in the difficult conditions in Gaza
I hope you will donate even a little, my friends. Your donation will help us withstand this suffering
Donation link in bio. Your donation will save us
Please don't hesitate to donate and reblog.
Thank you all

So baby has lung issues

For anyone trying to confirm that this campaign is vetted, it was here: https://www.tumblr.com/90-ghost/763973679600320512?source=share

No new donations in over a week!

I have been helping my friend Akram to raise funds for himself and his brother Malek to leave Gaza and continue their education. They are both bright students, and being able to study and work abroad will allow them to support their family and friends back in Gaza. Right now, they are studying for online exams, struggling to stay diligent in the face of hunger, cold, and devastation.

But their hard work will be for nothing if they cannot pay the fee to leave the country and attend university. Their campaign has been going slowly and they are losing hope...

Can anyone match my $20 donation? I will happily do a sketch of anything you like in exchange. I also have originals of my artwork for sale to benefit this campaign. Please help me get this going again!

This little girl is suffering from malnutrition due to the lack of food and the high prices of all food items, not to mention the diapers, which are crazy expensive. Please donate to this little girl and let her live her life like the rest of the children in the world.

"Omar's Story: We Need You Now More Than Ever"

My name is Omar, I am 20 years old, and I am from Gaza, a place where peace and safety are just distant dreams. In one instant, our lives turned into a living nightmare. I lost my brother in an unforgettable explosion. He was beside me when the bomb hit, and there was nothing I could do. No words, no screams—only the terrifying silence that followed, filled with destruction and despair.

Then, in another moment, our home was completely destroyed. Everything we had was gone. Our memories, our pictures, even our hope. We no longer have a place to sleep, no walls to protect us. We are now living amidst rubble, in darkness, with no shelter, no safety, no life.

You may ask, why am I asking for help now? Simply put, we have no time, no second chance. My brother is gone, my home is gone, but we still have hope for life, hope that we can rebuild what was destroyed, hope that we can live again. But I cannot do this alone.

Today, you have a real chance to be part of that hope. Today, you have a chance to save a life. Your donation, no matter how small, will give me the ability to provide shelter for my family. It will give us the chance to stand on our feet again, to restore what was lost, even if just a little.

For every minute that passes, we are facing death. For every moment, we are closer to the end, but you can be the hero who saves us.

I ask you today to donate, do not hesitate. Because if you were in my place, every donation would be the only hope for survival. We need you now, before it’s too late. Every moment matters, and every donation will make the difference between life and death for us.

Help me now, do not leave us in the dark. Every donation is a step toward life.

We will never forget those who stood by us in our darkest moments.

May you be blessed with hardcore gay sex thatd give a conservative a deadly heart attack this pride

I’m asexual, can I be blessed with a buttload (approximately 126 gallons or 834 pounds) of garlic bread instead?

Ya know what? Absolutely.

Reblog to bless your followers with freaky sex and/or garlic bread.

“We chose the term “asexual” to describe ourselves because both “celibate” and “anti-sexual” have connotations we wished to avoid: the first implies that one has sacrificed sexuality for some higher good, the second that sexuality is degrading or somehow inherently bad. “Asexual”, as we use it, does not mean “without sex” but “relating sexually to no one”. This does not, of course, exclude masturbation but implies that if one has sexual feelings they do not require another person for their expression. Asexuality is, simply, self-contained sexuality.”

Note the date, people:

That’s 1972

29 years before AVEN was started online,

and 47 years before the present.

And that’s only the date that Manifesto was written, so asexuals as members of a community must have existed at least some time before that.

So, no: we are not just Tumblr trenders. Get out of here with that.

Who’s cutting onions? 😭 Also they are SERVING

It always moves me to tears when I see photos like these. Like, it’s so hard to be queer now and there are a million ways to connect with others and acceptance is so much more abundant. How brave must these people have been to admit their affection with no way of knowing it would be reciprocated or if they’d be safe afterward.

As someone that has grown up surrounded by beaches and done surf life saving, I know how the sea works. Lots of people dont. Every summer multiple tourists die here because they don’t respect the sea, if you’re going to the coast, here’s a thing I saw on Facebook.

wow.

reblogging for all of us that grew up in land locked states, then visit the ocean and are used to just plunging into a lake.

All of this applies to Lake Michigan, as well. The rips aren’t as big, but they do happen. We lose tourists every year.

Reblog to save a life!

Another note.

Rip tides are a particular problem in parts of the U.K., especially parts of Wales and Cornwall.

Please, please if you are in the U.K., only swim in lifeguarded areas and don’t put so much as a toe in the water if you are on a beach that has a red flag and no lifeguard or lifeguard station. (Some beaches are permanently red flagged). In May 2020, in a single day, two people died and a third were hospitalized because of rip currents on the Cornish coast.

(Cornwall is beautiful but something about the way it sticks out into the ocean breeds these things).

Hey a bit more sea safety from a qualified sailing instructor/ lifelong boat person.

If you fall in the sea unexpectedly the best thing you can do is relax and just float. Again, raise one arm if you can to let people know you are there.

It may be a warm sunny day but that does not mean the sea is warm. If you were really cold then you suddenly start to feel warm again, chances are, you are suffering from hypothermia. Get out of there and warm up slowly. Don’t hop in the shower right away it lures you into a false sense of warmth.

Yes it’s summer but hypothermia is still possible in many places especially as far north as the uk

listen… i’m a lesbian and i know full well what oppression based on love is like… but i wish white gay folks wouldn’t act like sexuality is the only reason anyone’s ever felt that

Avatar

there are people in my family who’ve been disowned because they married someone of a different colour to them… i’m mixed race and the very concept of my existence would’ve been illegal in the us when my parents were born. the supreme court only ruled against discrimination of mixed-race marriages in 1967! that’s barely 50 years ago. homophobia is an awful thing to experience and i know that from first hand experience but i’m begging you to remember that gay people aren’t the only ones being killed for who they love. please remember the struggles faced by Black and brown people when you talk about oppression. please have some solidarity with your nonwhite friends (especially your nonwhite gay friends!) when you talk about dismantling the systems that keep us alone and isolated. please remember the horrible history that is anti-miscegenation laws when you talk about equal marriage rights, because they aren’t just for white gay people.

Avatar

this is okay for white people to reblog

Mixed-race marriages were still being denied in 2009. This is not ancient history. Just because it’s law, doesn’t mean bigots give up their preferences. In communities that shelter and protect bigotry, it takes a long, long time for oppressed people to get the same rights everyone else has.

Also disabled people can louse financial aid if they marry in the US. It’s not just Queer people, It’s not just POC, It’s not just Disabled people. Marage equality is a big issue.

If you want to keep the help that is NEEDED from the government as a disabled person then you also can’t have more than $2000 in your bank account at a time or you basically lose everything

We haven’t achieved marriage equality for everyone
