Hiii! I have a lot of headcanons about her before the rescue bots and before the war, but I never kept track of them- so I’m just gonna type out whatever comes off the top of my head!

(Be warned these are really random, also sorry for the late reply, I’ve had this draft but I kept forgetting to actually work on it today 😢)

Before the war:

- Quickshadow attended an academy for special operations agents in training

- She’s eloquent with politics, and kept track of them until tensions stretched and war broke out

- She was a trouble maker growing up, getting into fights at the academy and talking back to mentors

- She was not silent on the issue of Misogyny, any chance she got, she stood against it

- She was loud, brash, and rebellious, very unlike her older self. She was always very smart however

- She met the requirements quickly, and she graduated the academy early, going on to becoming one of the most effective agents on Cybertron

- She did not become an agent just to help with war efforts, but to prove to herself that she is more than just a ‘normal bot’

Before joining the Rescue Bots:

- Quickshadow served very closely to Optimus Prime, always taking up the toughest missions

- No one knew anything except Optimus, who was not made known to anything more than her academic background

- She surrounded her life around her missions and tasks, as if she was escaping from something (or someone). From what? Only she knows

- She ended up nearly driving herself insane from constantly pressuring herself to be perfect, which is what prompted Optimus to send her to Earth for simpler missions, since she refused to take leave for her mental health

Other headcanons/after joining the Rescue Bots

- Quickshadow’s sire is Ultra Magnus, but they were never close since he became occupied with the war (headcanon from @sh0rtfus3-pr1m3 🩷)

{Their strained relationship and her desire to be ‘perfect’ stems from her feeling as though he completely abandoned her at the academy despite his intentions of keeping her safe and away from all the battle}

- She tried to get Optimus to change her choice of vehicle mode, since she could not go out herself, breaking parameter protocol, to find one that she is actually comfortable with

- She and Hightide periodically worked together throughout the war. After joining the Rescue Bots, they often spent their free time talking about war, old comrades, memories, etc

- Quickshadow didn’t hate Heatwave as much as he hated her upon first arriving (she didn’t really care)

- She and Dani actually talk and spend time together (I’m so mad they barely interacted in the show when Dani was so excited to have another girl on the team)

{Dani asks her nonstop about Cybertronian courtship}

- After the Evan and Myles incident, Quickshadow became less willing to participate with the group, much to everyone’s dismay

- If any bot told her they liked her (romantically or not), she instantly becomes a much more difficult bot to interact with

- She tolerates high grade like its normal energon, no matter how much she drinks

- She’s dated many mechs throughout her life, and she hated every one of them because they never treated her right

{Their excuses were that war times were tough, and that they were too tired/stressed to spare even a bit of compassion for her}
