The theme of January are two opposite tropes that are familiar to us from all the good romcoms! Meet-cutes and meet-uglies both describe scenarios where our respective love interests meet each other for the first time, often in a memorable manner. Whether that meeting is sweet, romantic and full of those warm fluffy feelings, or an unfortunate mishap or other less than auspicious beginning... well, that remains to be seen.

• Prompts are open until December 28th 2025.
• One person may leave up to three prompts.
• I will pick a prompt to write a fic for on 1st of January 2026.
• I will write and post the fic during the month of January, and gift it to the prompt giver if they have given me their AO3 handle.
• I will release the prompts I'm not using and have the permission to share, so other writers and creators may join in on the fun if they so choose.
