I was anxious about the trip and thus didn't sleep or eat the night before and now have a pounding ache in my right eye (every time, I swear), but I'm also incapable of sleeping on a plane so I've just tied a belt over my right eye like an eye patch and slumped forward and am lazily watching whatever the person next to me or in front of me is watching with my other eye.

lowkey i’ve been waiting for this question maybe if you scroll back on my blog you’ll see it but idk if ive actually posted a lot about it but i was basically stuck for ages and ages about this play and then the reneé nicole good thing happened and ive been following the news for ages and all the ICE stuff its all just ugh and i also you know got quite into tlou and we just started doing 1900s russia in history and also reform exists and may actually win the next election here which may actually lead to my family have to move which sucks to say the least but anyway it’s basically every dystopian YA to ever exist, dystopian environment with the classic censorship, no freedom of speech, there’s the rebel organisation and the military cause it’s kind of an oligarchy/military dictatorship and i’ve written a couple scenes but i don’t have a full storyline fleshed out which is a bit of a problem seeing as the draft is due in a month i people are actually interested ill post more info about it but yeah those are like. the vibes

if anyone wants to help with ideas or reading it or literally anything please feel free it’s for the national theatre and if it’s any good i’ll get something i don’t know what but even if it’s recognition or anything that would be so fucking cool but yeah i think if it’s properly good then a couple of actors will perform a few scenes from it at the festival we’re going to as part of the club but again i’m not sure

I can’t speak for other social media webbed sites but I really enjoy how tumblr seems to just completely spin a wheel on whatever media is hot right now. Like yeah sometimes it’s a new show that’s big and actively coming out but also sometimes there will be a solid month where half my dash is Columbo memes. Defy authority. Get really into an book from the 1800s. Watch shows that haven’t aired in 40 years. Celebrate the anniversary of the Boston Molasses Flood. Become unmarketable
