I did it! This is an IDW AU born while watching The Green Knight (2021), specifically from one movie shot that I'd like to redraw. I was torn on whether or not to draw them all as robots or humans, so I started making designs for their human counterparts first - mostly because it is more fun to come up with clothes and accessories. I will eventually tackle a robot version. This is a long post, btw!

Indeed, this is a completely separate version from the Lion King AU I had come up with a couple of years ago, I just borrowed the crowns because I really liked those designs lol.

But let's set the stage under the cut. You can listen to the playlist on spotify dedicated to it: I've placed the songs in sequence so that they can create a certain vibe for the scenes I had in mind. You can read the plot part while listening.

He's Italian like the rest or them, I specifically headcanon him and the seekers to be from Napoli. (lol Europinion, nice one!)

A part 2/followup to this other set of comic pages! It's a little more suggestive, but this other batch doesn't show anything explicit either.

Something I drew that should have ended up in my 🔞 account, but since nothing happens besides character building and chitchat, have some humanformer ES megop (+ puppy/handler talk).

Right, art! Just some random humanformers I did recently. The first one was just for fun, testing some more definitive designs for the Mach Megops, while the second one is just ES Megatron's day off. He rolls his own cigarettes like a good Italian.

I don't really have specific inspirations for characters. Most of the time, I just look up models or photos online and get the elements I like the most (a nose here, an eye shape there, etc).

Since I am also bad at remembering the names of famous people, I only use them as examples when I am very sure they fit what I have in mind (ex. my machinima Megatron's design is vaguely inspired by Mifune Toshiro).

For fashion styles, which I don't think I'm that great at, to be honest, I just imagine what could suit their personality and find looks that match that style. I know there is a technique to build a logical character design, but mine is very scatterbrained lol!

My most recent is ES Megatron's look: he's a bit of a mix between a weird e-boy style (don't laugh, it's just what the fashion is called 🤷‍♂️ I'm not saying he's an e-boy lol), shoegaze and old Italian alt-look people I see around the city I live.
