getting exhausted seeing caine fans (+ the others, but mainly caine) complaining about jax 'hogging the spotlight' tbh. like... i genuinely don't really feel like he's gotten that much more attention than the rest of the cast in the whole show so far.
jax hasn't done much other than be a jerk in the first four episodes (with a few flickers of something deeper but that's it) and ep 3 barely had him at all. he's finally getting some time to shine. just... let the jax fans (and goose) finally have their food
it's not just caine's show, it's everyone's - and that includes jax. (plus it's a bit too early to decide if caine was snubbed by the show bc like... he may have more time to shine in the next two yknow! i don't think caine will have a designated 'episode'. his story is more overarching if anything)
i like that we're finally learning about jax, personally! i liked him but he was always my least favourite by nature of him just being a jerk and not doing much else compared to the others.
i completely understand being disappointed that the episode didn't play out the way you hoped it would (initially i felt that way too before i thought about it and understood what goose is trying to do) but to say jax is taking all of the attention away from everyone personally doesn't sit right with me
that's where i stand, at least. i'm interested to see where the show goes from here. i think all of the discourse is a knee jerk reaction and that i think the fandom will calm down once the episode's been out for a while
