“Kaladin, stretch forth thy hand!”
Sanderson really split the jesus methapor in two. He gave Kaladin the crucifixion and Kelsier the death by the spear and coming back from death.
(ik Kaladin has done coming back from the dead multiple times, but that hasn't started a full religion by itself, yet)
Kaladin is sooooo ready to be syncretized into Survivorism.
Survivor of the Pits, Survivor of the Flames, and now, Survivor of the Chasms. Spear motif and opposition against oppression included.
Sigh I’m making a poll because i need opinions and a hug lmfao
ok @2shards said what if crab colors and im obsessed
I drew some Guys, if any of you want some Guys for any reason.
Oh yeah I also drew some more of these. All of these (except like two of them) are a few months old so they don't necessarily reflect my current character designs, but I might as well put them here. Take them, they're yours, they belong to you now. (If someone's not included, I either don't consider them to have an especially noteworthy appearance, or I don't consider them to be a super important character, or I've just never drawn them before and didn't want to come up with a new character design.)
Oh and one more thing.
Waxillium Ladrian carries marked bills in case he gets robbed, mixes stuff into his water so it looks like booze in case he needs to fake being drunk, and makes sure he always has a metal button on his shirt in case he needs to kill someone with it.
Is it any wonder that he's a perfect match for Steris "I got nervous last night so to calm myself down I accidentally planned for every conceivable apocalypse scenario" Harms
let’s take this to the skies
Ideas you get from waiting in TSA lines after dragonsteel....
Yes I'm redoing the Dragonsteel poll.
So. Moash knows dawnchant, right? Or whatever language the fused speak if its not dawnchant.
This is during a meeting with the nine, attended only by fused and their voices, so it would be ridiculous if they were speaking in alethi during this scene, yet moash understands what everyone is saying AND venli doesn't even immediately place moash as being a human speaking (meaning he isn't using a different language than everyone there), just that he has a thick accent. Raboniel didn't seem to know moash was there until he spoke so it's not like the meeting memo said "oh btw moash is going to be there so the meeting will be conducted in alethi because he's our special boy"
Which means that during the year RoW timeskip, moash learned an entire ancient language. good for him
