made this for lurking but decided life series autism is too strong

HOLY FUCK I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING

So. Etho. We all know him we all love him. He's been around forever and everybody loves him because he's the resident old guy. Its important to know, though, that a huge part of his character is his reputation. Because he has been around for so long and has so much knowledge over the game and has designed so many things for the community, his legacy obviously proceeds him. Whether or not he is as competent or strong as his reputation paints him as may be up for debate, but the fact that he is well-known and respected is not.

Jumping around a little, there are 3 models of persuasion used in debate. Logos is the use of logic, facts and figures, and things relating to cold hard facts to convince. Pathos is the use of feelings, emotions, and matters of the heart to convince. The last one, meanwhile, is the most interesting. The last way of convincing is to paint the speaker as highly skilled, experienced, intelligent or otherwise competent in the matter at hand. Its to say "oh I'm right all the time, so how could I be wrong about this?" This last way of convincing is called Ethos.

His name is literally one of his major character traits. He is defined by his history and his legacy, and it is what people know his as. I don't know if other people have realized this (I'm sure someone has) but I just thought of it and I'm shaking. Etho is such an interesting character guys it's unreal.

do you ever think about how numbers on products will just keep going up unless something is renamed or discontinued. there will be an ios 125. a playstation 18. a windows 46. i wonder how long it will go until the products have to be renamed. would people still be excited over an iphone 74. at what point do the numbers become meaningless to the average consumer. at what point does it go from 'new and improved version of this item!' to 'damn they're still making these?'

Is this even decipherable as life series fan art. I was having thoughts about Grian’s visual glitch ok

as if forcing its users to send photos of ID to confirm we're not children, youtube is pulling this insane shit:

go blow this shit up, seems to be because it's from a country where the currency conversion rate is super inflated, and youtube just pockets the majority of the money

If you think about it it's incredibly poetic that the series about time, about the past, ended up on a repeat.
