I was in the mood for something cutesy… I think Sir SDW would love to experience what it’s like to be able to go fast… saying as he can’t fly nor drive or anything 😭 he probably would look at how others would race each other or try to see how high they can fly or how deep they can dive… and think about what it would feel like, but alas… he’ll have to settle with just running around
A new Soundwave design 😛 I’m still working on it and his alt mode… but he’s a locomotive!! I wanted to give him his Bayverse colors btw so keep that in mind… I have a ton of ideas for him and I figured this is the closest I’ll get to a current placeholder design for him cuz I’ve been working on it since October 💔 I hope he’s still recognizable as a Soundwave 😭 I tried to keep along the general rules of Soundwave to his design, and I created a whole other city for mechs like him n stuff and world building… I hope I can stick to this one for awhile since I have a better idea of what I’m doing with it… there is gonna be a lot of elephant attributes sprinkled for this Soundwave 🙄 it’s what he would’ve wanted
Ahh poor Sir Soundwave and his tricky joints and seams 💔 but Shockwave wants to help the helper… it’s just that he fears his uncontrollably intense emotions will end up with him being more of a liability and holdback instead 🤧 yet he admires SDW’s will to keep working, even if his physical disability may end up being a hurdle for himself and others

I love Soundwave for being a huge professional rage baiter 😮💨 cuz what was his deal bro, not a single soul around him can last being happy cuz of him and he loves that 😭 only exception is basically Laserbeak.. his beef with dudes so bad they come back for seconds years later (cough Soundblaster) , genuinely makes me a little convinced he’s a decepticon just cuz it makes more people mad at once and gives him more opportunities to be such an obnoxious menace
!!! Not my design but I wanted to just talk about this Unused Soundwave design by Guido Guidi cuz idk. I just think about it a lot. I kinda wanna draw it. But I also won’t be able to draw again for like another day or two cuz I have to fly back home 💔💔 so that’s why I’ve been busy… but still this design… is very good, ik it’s basically a bar for bar with the Microcassette Recorder but to me it opens a lot of biological aspects for Sdw 😮💨and that’s like cool I like it when transformers have their biologies explored
Some Tfp Soundwave hand study sketches… I really liked how skeletal his hands were kinda so I wanted to make them more boney looking 🤔 I find it interesting he’s the only character with four fingers too… even tho his older bulkier gladiator frame had five fingers as well… it’s interesting but my guess is just that it was to make Soundwave more strange and alien, even among cybertronian standards
You can tell by the way that Soundwave is, that he snores unbearably loud 💔💔 actually maybe he doesn’t even snore at all, he just plays snoring recordings in his sleep cuz he knows it’ll bother Someone and that’s genuinely all he needs to know 😭 much to Hot Rod’s dismay and nightly torture… behold my very occasional Cyberverse art… it doesn’t happen often
Sir Soundwave you are so beautiful even when you get beat up so you can protect overs 😮💨 is he injured? Yeah… does he notice? … barely probably 😒 that spark of his too big for him to really notice his own falters 💔 he’d take thousands of hits if it meant the survival of one more person at all… this one was line practice yet again as to warm back up to drawing, but idk if I’ll be back to my usual drawing routine till sometime in January maybe 😮💨

Just some quick Cybertron SDW sketches… I’ll flesh out his face another time, it’s kinda hard to draw his helm 💔💔 and like usual I tried to keep his face shape/ size within the shape on his typical visor and mask too… I like this silly guy, he’s pretty underrated..there are some things I’d change abt this face but overall I’m just trying to get a feel about it

Finally finished Tfone Soundwave’s face 🤧 I apologize for disappearing but I’ve been traveling so I haven’t had the time to draw!! Anyways, I just wanted to try to do a render of how I imagine Sdw’s face is in Tfone 🤨 the picking of a blue optic color is mostly just cuz I thought the high command essentially being traffic lights to be really silly ngl.. otherwise, I tried to stay as close to his proportions as possible to make sure his face shape at least fit in his mask and made sense 😌
