artemy is immeasurably kind, but i think it ultimately comes down to how nonjudgmental he is, he's able to handle people lashing out insanely well (this is demonstrated multiple times, with the inquisitor, with daniil, with clara) because he doesn't expect automatic kindness. his ability to comfort people by just being himself is something he demonstrates in parallel to both the inquisitor and daniil about the powers that be (first to daniil and then to the inquisitor). artemy is admirable because of who he chooses to love (people he sees are vulnerable and scared) and how he's desperate to earn love, by protecting others and wanting to be relied on. and how he takes none of it for granted.
