I get that this is mostly a me thing but seeing so many posts making fun of "holy blood cannibalism pomegranate deer" style writing just makes me sad ;-; . guys that's a lot of people's first stab at poetry that's hobby art that's a vulnerable thing to post those are passion projects...
#i do see both sides of this#but hasn't it always been the case that a particular theme or motif might pop up very frequently#in a particular time and place?#like say flea poems were very popular in around the renaissance#people were probably fucked up of them after a while#idk it's one of those live and let live things for me
