TREATMENT (proof of concept)

As always, this is an idea that’s been rattling around in my head for a longggggg time but I’m only just getting around to it now. This isn’t a final, just a concept to get the idea fleshed out a bit more. My full picture would hopefully be much longer/more detailed, but that’s for another time. For now, this works. Credit to my friend @novazentryx for the original concept!

Warnings: animal death/illness, blood (though I tried to keep it abstract and minimal), hunting.

Smth I’ve always thought would be interesting to explore is how Kwazii and Dashi would react if they met humans since they’re domestic species.

Would they feel some kind of realization hit them? Recognition of something long lost ago. I may not know who you are, but my dna tells me you’re my best friend. Even if humans doomed themselves, those we cared for carried on the legacy and looked after the earth.

You could choose a lot of things for a human’s “creature power” to be, but I think the strongest is love.

AU CONTENT RAAAGHH

basic au summary: the gods of animal jam Mira and Zios recruit wk and octonauts to help them fight the phantoms in Jamaa 👍👍👍👍 here is Mira’s disguise + some extra sketches. I have to get the pictures out of my head and there may be some casualties (I am rambling to people in dms)

Been pretty demotivated to draw recently so I’m posting some backlog of art I haven’t (in my memory) shared before.

Made this ref bc I wanted to redesign the suits, and since their comm devices are on their gloves I had to make a solid ref for the creaturepod itself (it is annoyingly harder to draw than it looks due to its shape)

Other artists are free to trace it or recolour it or whatever to suit their needs. If enough ppl want it I could make the procreate file available/make it transparent so that you can drag and drop the assets into whatever you’re working on

Tumblr Dashboard Image Display Sizes (Updated July 13, 2015):

  • Photo Post: 540 by 810 pixels for dashboard view. Use 1280 by 1920 pixels for high-res version (except for superwide panoramas).
  • “Tall” Photo Post: Tumblr takes a 300-by-810-pixel version of your image then stretches it by 80% using HTML height and width attributes to make it 540 by 1458 pixels. Image quality may be diminished. Aim for uploading at least 710-by-1920-pixel images in case Tumblr switches to a better image size on the Dashboard. (It’s happened before.)
  • Photoset: 540-pixel width for one image in a photoset row. 268-pixel width for two images in a photoset row. 177-pixel width for three images in a photoset row. Gutters are 4 pixels.
  • Audio Post: 169 by 169 pixels for album art.
  • Link Post: 130 by 130 pixels for the thumbnail image grabbed by Tumblr from web link (if available).
  • Text Post: As of March 30, 2015, inline images can appear full-width (540 pixels wide). Any inline images that are 300 pixels wide or larger will display as full-width.
  • Avatar: 64-by-64-pixel icon next to posts.
