The idea of two people having sex and it creating another, smaller person who has a combination of their traits sounds like it was made up for fan fiction but alas I've heard tale that it's really happened
How to not be scared of all things? Advice pls.
sometimes you juste have to find a way to puff up the tail & face danger… other times it is ok to hide under bed
No matter how profoundly sad a Buffy episode is, someone will walk in on you watching a scene like this

“No homo” cries the team at the dig site. The head archaeologist sinks to his knees, sobbing. He has dedicated his entire career to the pursuit of homo habilis, an important part of the hominid evolutionary line. All his work led up to this archaeological dig site. But now, his whole life has been for nothing. There is no homo….there is only Australopithecus.

I read this to a group of archaeologists and they completely lost their shit
artist dude: Women are so insane and incomprehensible and mysterious...their ways are fascinating to me A regular human being and every time I write about them I delve into an alien world, fascinating and frightening
women in real life: Hey man how's it going
'Disabled' is not a bad word. 'Disability' is not a bad word.
Unless someone has specifically said they do not like being called disabled, please, just call us disabled.
It's not an insult. It's not a bad thing to be disabled. The only reason people think it is, is because of ableism.
If you think calling someone disabled is insulting, you have to unlearn some serious ableism.
i keep seeing posts that are like "if you're disabled and don't have support you just have to Try and Do It Anyway" and then i see other posts that are like "i have support bc i literally will die without it" but i am always thinking about the people who had no support, "tried," and died of abuse/neglect/sickness/injury because they really Couldn't but didn't get any help anyway. we have lost so many to this.
my great grandmother worked herself to death. she was sick and disabled from a lifetime working in the mills, never able to afford proper medical care. she died in her home, alone, trying to maintain her house. she had no insurance. her husband was dead. she was alone, and needed support, and no one was there.
it’s very scary to think about that you don’t get support Because you need it. you get support because a large societal apparatus and/or individuals decide to give it to you. you get support because of your place in various hierarchies that dont correlate with ‘severity’ of disability, and because you are (often extraordinarily) lucky. i think it’s awkward because lot of disabled ppl unknowingly repeat rhetoric that acts like support does materialize out of thin air DUE TO need that they have summoned it because they are worthy / Sufficiently disabled
can we send up a quick thank you to pdf uploaders, torrent seeders, copy sharers, scanlators, fansubbers, digitizers, paywall dodgers, and various other internet archivers for making niche art and information more accessible in a media landscape where all but the most profitable mainstream are often tossed aside and left to rot
has anyone ever told you you're annoying?
People on Tumblr love sharing information about themselves no matter how asinine it is. And I'm the same way. Everybody tell me what the last thing you drank was.

Don’t like people pointing out that it no longer makes sense in modern society to pretend a banana is a telephone

my bioengineering team is working on a rectangular-slab-shaped banana variant to address this very issue
