The Amazing Digital Circus is genuinely what it feels like to show up as a new alter in a system (ESPECIALLY as an introject) and find out you can't go back to source. I don't know if anyone's brought it up, but HONESTLY, I can imagine a TADC au with all of the circus members as alters. Caine is the main gatekeeper, Pomni is the host, Jax is the persecutor, and Ragatha is a caregiver or trauma holder. I'm having a harder time with the others, but I can see Kinger as an ex-host or an amnesia holder, Gangle as a trauma holder or masking alter, Zooble as a protector. No idea what Bubble is. Maybe a fragment? I can see a lot of the NPCs as fragments or just literal NPCs. The Circus is the headspace, and abstraction is basically like dormancy in this situation. I could see the adventures being like fronting? Maybe I'm crazy, but I see an ACTUAL metaphor in this.
