I think this is a general consensus in parts of the lautity fandom, but I really think Grace’s faith is something that Steph admires and I want to add on to that

Steph is impressed with Grace’s faith and passion because she lacks that. Her dad is the mayor of hatchetfield so she’s always had a peak behind the curtain of corruption. She can’t bring herself to trust in those above her because Solomon isn’t even a good father let alone a good mayor. Steph has watched absolute power absolutely corrupt, so how could she have faith in anything?

Grace’s optimistic faith is foreign to her, and almost comforting. She may not have faith but she sees how it can drive a person and keep them motivated. At first she thinks it’s silly but she comes to appreciate it.

I also think it makes it burn even more to her when Grace is corrupted by power.

The first death of this year 2026 was not Renee Good but Keith Porter and the media is not talking about him because he is a Black man.

I agree with the takes that Mark and Karen Chasity would never purposefully do anything to hurt Grace, but I feel like I've seen a weird trend where people want to defend them to the point where they pretend like they aren't the ones that raised Grace to believe the harmful things that come with Grace's fundamentalist christianity. As if those beliefs just came out of nowhere.

im not sure if people still do this anymore but i remember people making rankings on the actors (like how well they act sing dance etc). looking back those videos give me a weird vibe. i know people will have their favorite members of starkid and think "this actor really stood out this show" but putting a whole ranking and pitting them against each other feels disrespectful. also corey was usually near the bottom of the list which had to be cuz of racism.

I vividly remember this one video I watched back in 2022 and it was ranking starkid vocals and like most of the people were men and I remember the poster bringing it up and idk something about that just weirdly stuck with me

Thinking about Bill and Alice again because of the tarot cards. Alice is desperate to be independent and peruse her dreams. Bill is desperate to connect with her and doesn’t want to let her go. The way Bill’s tarot card emphasizes how flawed he is. He’s got his own issues, on top of not understanding Alice… but he wants to, he loves her. Alice wants to be in a position where she doesn’t have to dependent on her dad, where she can be free, but she loves her dad too. They love each other, but the circumstances are so complicated and messy.
