I’ve noticed a sort of implicit belief that people used to do things the hard way in the past because they were tougher or something. In reality, labor-saving devices have historically been adopted by the populace as soon as they were economically feasible. No one stood in front of a smoky fire or a boiling pot of lye soap for hours because they were virtuous, they did it because it was the only way to survive.

Today I learned that an alarming number of yall are filtering fic by “completed works only” which is WILD to me because some of the best shit I ever read was incomplete. Just like how some of the best friendships fade, the best experiences end, the best partners pass away before you’re ready. Nobody wants good things to end but they do and that doesn’t make them less meaningful. And sometimes a tree must be nurtured before it can grow

The freaks wanted to be in an enclosed space and the best that i could give them were very close together walls.

So this spiralled out of control and now it's its own au of sorts? They're in some warehouse of some corrupt, goverment controlling company and Owen is a fugitive (and a vampire of course) hiding away, while Legs is an on-site doctor working for the company. If this is similar to any already existing au's, consider this fanart for that i guess.

I might have forgotten that these things were supposed to be simple drawings, but oh well. More practice for me.

This is my last one for today and the first time i'm going to sleep since opening the asks. Goodnight
